- A $250 PIE!! The worlds biggest pie! The food challenge that killed me… America is a country known for having large over the top food items. Texas, is a state known for having even bigger items, and the most extreme in America! It should be no surprise that the biggest pie eat big challenge is located in Frisco, Texas at batch bakery. Using only real high-quality ingredients, and traditional cooking methods, this bakery specializes in pies and cakes both made the order and your American classics like coconut cream, pie, chocolate, cream, pie, peanut butter, pie, Keylime, pie, and even cookies and cream, a.k.a. Oreo pie! For this challenge we had a 28 inch pie, and 60 minutes to complete it in order to get the $250 pie for free! This pie was the equivalent of over eight regular size pies, and and was the biggest dessert challenge I have ever tried or ever seen! They said it was impossible, and I think they were right..

Ohhhhh man, my IBS kicked in hard feeling Joel’s pain. Certain foods just run right thru immediately, about makes you cry when it hits. Good job!!!! Might need Immodium beforehand when it comes to these dairy challenges. The staff seemed so sweet helping you.

This has to be one of the most painful challenges he's done! I know the heat ones are painful but this much dairy and sugar could cause some serious issues! Good luck buddy!!! You have a gut of steel

Sweet challenges always make me nervous…. Blood sugar is no joke. Epic challenge though! Owners seemed so genuine too. If I ever go that way I’d love to drop by 😸

Yeah... I'd have gone for the apple pie myself. Btw.. I think that much sugar ingested in half an hour can ...probably put you in a coma or worse... Very tough. But congratulations for finishing what you started.

I wouldn't be surprised if the owners just decided they'd rather let him get away with leaving a little bit of pie there than risk having to clean up a Texas-sized mess afterwards. I know that'd be my choice. LOL.

I don’t thin think they let him off the hook at all. I know Joel could have gotten that small bit of what was mainly whipped cream down towards the very bottom. Plus keep in mind he cleans most plates, platters or bowls better than any other eater out there.

I really love the banana split layered pie. Graham cracker crust, layer of vanilla pudding, layer of drained crush pineapple, layer of sliced bananas, layer of whipped cream, cherry pie filling then walnut pieces on top. Refrigerate for an hour or more and enjoy.

while there were smears i planned to finish, but they said i was done multiple times, I insisted and cleaned up passed this point anyway, but, do you keep running after you cross the finish line? I post all my videos & I would have totally accepted failure if they called it such, or I couldn't have kept going. I don't make the rules, but stopped after I crossed the finish line (and even did extra running another 1/2 mile according to them). :) Thanks
@@JoelHansen i don't blame you at all for stopping after they counted it as done but theres clearly a segment left at the bottom and i think they just counted it as complete bc they didnt want to see you suffering any more lol, still an amazing performance! but not a "left no doubt" moment. but i guess if they call that a pie we can call this a win 🤣

Great job Joel but I wouldn’t call that a win. They felt sorry for you as you were clearly struggling. If it were just smears then yeah, but there’s a whole segment left at the bottom. Still an awesome job though and a crazy amount to have eaten! I’d love to try a personal sized one.

I consider this as a loss. You left some on there. Even though the restaurant said you are finished, I think you should have completed the entire tray. You left doubt on this challenge.

If that was the case I simply would have kept going, only a few smears left, even if i ended up with a few smears in my shorts ;) i dont make the rules or blow the whistle. I stopped when a ran an extra 1/2 mile after the finish line :)
