I’m learning to sing with opera/classical type while being a baritone and it’s honestly one of the hardest things to do, although I’ve been getting my capacity higher intensely more often nowadays, but my upmost respect for Divide though regardless from one singer for another.
This is such an emotional and motivational song. It brings you the memories of the movie, the heartbreak and the big message behind Rengoku's powerful and ever burning heart. If you listen closely at the end, even though the lyrics say otherwise you can hear it say "Watch you set it on fire" and later on "and you lit the fuse, watch you set it on fire". It's a truely heartbreaking part of the song as it entails that Tanjiro did set his heart ablaze and would never give up again. Set your heart ablaze 🔥🔥🔥

A bit late to the party here, but this is yet another example of how amazing Divide is. The song is just plain good. I hadn't watched the movie when the song was released and still loved it. Still loved the message. I just watched the movie and then came back and listened to the song again. This hits so much different and gets even better when you know the inspiration behind it.

back when I listened to this first time (the one that got took down) it easily went on my top 3 (the Vegeta one on the very top) but then, just the other day, I finished Mugen Train. and I'd say, this went beyond Vegeta's song, the way you constructed this music, accurately represents the whole fight of Rengoku. that gentle intro, ending with that one up high vocals represents that scene where Rengoku pushed through and through even though he got holed. it also reminds me of the words of Tanjiro where he shouted. and then the soft ending again for Rengoku's last words along with his mother. Rengoku, he's such a great character. The writers brought us a character we don't know that well before, and made him our favorites in less than 2 hours. That is such goodness. Great job again, Divide. "set your heart ablaze."
Saw this movie my nephew love this anime. Begged me to watch this movie too. Loved rengoku. Beautiful character with a very positive personality despite the backstory. Animes like demon slayer and my hero academia are why I love anime in general cause while many may be "good vs evil" the character development and motivations is always handled with care. The messages the stories try to give is just done differently and in my opinion a more caring and passionate compared to other mediums Took just the first few minuets before I wanted to know all I couldn't about this character.
