Thank you for this case study. In particular, the analyses leading to highlight processes and design differences in the respective "business silos" was interesting. It shows that post merger integrations is more than just a simple technical alignment.

I work for a company just like this but much bigger. I’m the sole functional lead for one of the 100 million dollar businesses. Also other groups in my division are on outside ERPs so everything I do is through the shared services ERP team. Honestly it’s terrible. Everything becomes about politics. I’m responsible for endless projects that have to go through the shared services team but they are masters at rejecting projects or just pushing you off, then I have to go back to leadership and attempt to explain why I can’t get things done or where they are in this insane matrix. I’m responsible but have no control. Lessened learned as I would never take this type of role again. Sorry for rant just my experience but I appreciate the content and follow your content. The experience on the ground is a frustrating one but thank you

I empathize with you and can understand the politics between business and IT. Trust me it is everywhere and probably we need to try to get business sponsor by our side toive ahead.

You are helping a lot to think more strategically than just executing through status and metrics. Looking forward to more such insights as usual...

Great. It covered in short time the aspects of mergers and acquisitions which need to be focussed.
