I'd like to replace my stock OEM mirrors with carbon fiber mirrors but I want to keep the OEM bracket part b/c they usually always work much better than aftermarket. So trying to see if there is a way to unscrew the head/mirror part and replace only that part with aftermarket carbon fiber looking mirrors. Idk though... Risky attempt, not sure if I should attempt or not.

I drilled a hole in the bottom of the mirror that no one will ever see and tightened the nut.

Thank you heat up my cb500 mirror and tighten it with 8mm wrench. no glue in my mirror just pop in

If I remember correctly I believe that there's a way to completely unscrew the head from the mirror assembly. Give it a shot! :-)
A jak wyciągnąć lusterko/szkło żeby nie uszkodzić bo muszę dociągnąć śrubę bo lusterko zaczęło mi się samo składać w trakcie jazdy.
Z tego, co widzę, to gość rozgrzał najpierw obudowę opalarką a dopiero potem wyjął lusterko bo próbując zrobić to samo wcześniej, bez opalarki, uszkodził lusterko małym śrubokrętem.
