Hi Marco and Cesar! Greetings from Russia! Great race, greate video! I`m not sure is it allowed by the rules, but I think you can increase your cart`s speed by installing motorcycle weels(or, at least, tyres) at cart`s rear axle. That will derese contact patch and raise your top speed. Also, you can duplicate your steering system and attach 2 levers to safety arcs behind, so you can push the cart and steer at the same time in a comfortable and efficient way. "Pushing stick" is really awesome! Make it "L" shaped to more comfortable pushing. I wish we have such competition in Russia but there are no mountains around Moscow. Anyhow, I wish you luck! Another great video - difficult drive (I hate loose gravel) I really like the course progress graphic in the screen as well as the alti/speedo readouts. The transition to asphalt and pavers added an exciting element. Sorry for English but my French is very weak and my Spanish is zero. USA.

Wow this is some good stuff. I'm in Texas. My dad made some hill karts for me n my friends when I was around 10 maybe 12 years old. But our hill wasn't nearly as long as the hill in this video. Our karts weren't as strong as yours . our karts was made from wood with a hand break. Our steering was just a rope tide to 2 ends of a 2×4 . lot's and lot's of fun. I love these videos. This races only took place in some towns in my country, Ecuador. It’s a long-time tradition here. They are also in other countries of Hispano-America. The name “Coches de madera” in the title means wooden karts, because originally, the karts were, exactly, as the karts that you dad made. I remember those from my childhood. Now, as you see, they are made from metal and other materials.

@@Hjerte_Verke oh I agree. When I was a kid there were no regs requiring bike helmets and such. We had actual shop classes with lathes and other machine tools and a small furnace for casting metal. We had a blast. Took a wood turning class last year and one of my classmates was a teacher. He told us that the local school boards closed down shop classes because they were too dangerous.

Circuito sin asfalto conlleva un peligro añadido que exije mayor perícia a los pilotos y coches robustos a la vez que aerodinámicos y ligeros. Cervicales a prueba. Trazado de carrera muy bueno. Paisaje precioso. Alta exigencia física de piloto y copiloto para los tramos de poca pendiente (plano o subida). Bien jugada la administración de la velocidad. El coche azul que adelanta toma la siguiente curva a velocidad excesiva. El 555 va muy suave en asfalto. El tramo urbano, a pie, debía ser anulado. Demasiado largo. FELICIDADES. Una buena carrera. There is just something about these videos. It interesting watching these guys race down the mountain roads. The scenery of these old towns is beautiful. I have a tripod question though, why not just end the race where the road goes up hill and not push the cars to the finish line?

Ya solo falta un presentador y un narrador y tomas aéreas con un dron ;-) Te recomiendo que hagas videos complementarios explicando cosas como la construcción del coche, las reglas de la competencias, tipos de coches, sobre la temporada de carreras, etc.
muy bonito sobre todo la parte inicial en el camino de tierra; para romperte la espalda, pero ahí puedes ver si puedes conducir, con el auto de lado, sin exagerar (como el que te adelantó, y luego ... dio un trompo)
