Hello I'm also pregnant with twins 32 weeks and counting ❤. I am finalizing the nursery and indeed the spot lights in the ceiling tend to be harsh, specially when you want to promote a calm a smooth environment for spleeping. In my case, I have 2 lamps, one at the nursery dresser from zara home (I have bought as the changing nursery the hemnes one from ikea) and then I have a big lamp on the other side of the room, its a new model in ikea called kinnahult, use for both warm light bulbs the transparent ones. It gives an amazing cozy feeling. Never use "cold light bulbs" as it gives that hospital feeling. 😊 so I would definitely place a lampshade at your changing area and probably a hight foot lamp like kinnahult between both cribs.
I would get two picture lights for above the mirror. Also there is a penguin light with an egg which you can remove for night feeds etc. We wouldn’t be without ours now. Probably not describing it the best so have a look online xx
You might find that when the twins are born you will duscover what suits during the night.Your looking so well Amy Rose your midwife will help you so much.Enjoy your crafting and Christmas decorations.🎉😊
Just a suggestion, you may want to take one of those change tables downstairs. Having to go up and down to change 2 babies can be a lot; especially before and after feedings. Speaking as a mom of two, save yourself the extra steps. Also, easy for family to help you.

Lightening crotch is the pressure on the nerves etc and everything softening etc .. I think you will appreciate the room having less light when the babies are there to help settle and create a cosy atmosphere, but you could get a nice glow light or one you can adjust from high to low .

I know it is late for my answer, but my sister has the same lights you have in the kitchen under the cupboards, and she was them under the chest of drawers. It gives you enough light to move around, but not it won't be in your eyes 👀 it is also a bit more gently for the baby (babies in your case 😊)

You should get the under cuboard lights that are like circle, you can press them off and on there just battery opperated you could put them under shelfs❤
Amazon have wall stick on lights that look like decorative lamps. Fairy lights might look a bit too much but that’s just my opinion and also could be safety hazard.

I think either a lamp on the change unit, or you have the cloud light too? That would give a fair bit of light 🤍
I would add fair flights on the top of the green border that goes across the wall so almost like a light border that separates the with and green 👌🏻
