Im glad toonz noticed the one of the cards changing in appearance but I wonder if he'll ever notice that the stoat changed a while ago too. Haven't finished the video yet so I don't know if he notices later on.

Throughout the card game their card were starting to look more and more like their original selves, the Stoat became more robot like the Stinkbug became more witch like and the wolf became more... bush? Like I guess.

Omg have you seen Sift’s videos?!? He’s amazing and does so many things. He won every play through despite the game being set up so that you lose to bring in the death card and other mechanics in to the point the entire door was filled with wins.

The strange larvae is strong but needs 3 turns to evolve.
Depending on the totem if you get a tentacle that has attack damage depending on number of cards in hand you can get some crazy combos.
Yeah and you can sacrifice the ringworm at the campfire so the next you are there the survivors wouldn't be there(you need a new ringworm for every time you get there and this only works on the campfire after it)

I'm just gonna say it, Toonz is probably the fastest to catch onto this game compared to other youtubers that I've watched play it. (If he's not playing outside of the videos) He's gotten so crucial items and story in a short amount of time all while going through less play throughs. It's honestly very impressive, I gotta say.

I'd like to point out that the ants also double your bones for those squirrels. So you should use them every time, even if you're just going to immediately sacrifice it.
The Strange larva card turns into the Strange Pupa card which you have already seen. The Strange Pupa then turns into the Moth Man card, it has 7 Attack, 3 Health and has the Airborne sigil.
Omf Toonz pls keep playing and finish the entire thing, we all want it. Your playthrough is our drug at this point

Ive been waiting 2 hours just to hear Toonz freak out at the second part of the game. TOTALLY worth it just to here him scream "it turned into POKEMON!?!?!?!" BTW never knew figured out about the ring mechanics so nice spotting toonz. Cant wait to see him freak out about what comes next...because it just gets even wilder in the 3rd part (not saying any spoilers!).

One of my favourite combos in this game is a bee-deck with the ant-totem.
Play bee, get ant. Play ant, get ant. Always have ant, get more bees every turn. More ant.
Hand full of ants. Get a hive-card. Get an ant queen. Use to get more ant. Powerlevel Ouroboros with ant. Always more ants to go. Get kraken that deals damage based on cards in hand. Ant cards. Ant hand. Countless, limitless ants. No other cards needed. Only ant.

A play by play of my brain exploding.
45 MINUTES IN..I think everytime Toonz dies the talking cards transform - and when they transform it gives a different result to the game (what they say, how they help,,etc). This game is so simple but so complex and has depth. Big fan!
1.5 HOURS IN..Holy shit! The talking cards are scrybes! The tree guy took their photos and created cards from them. That's why the cards were changing. I believe with each time you die, the Scrybes reveal more of themsleves. That would explain why the Stoat was turning into a "robot". I wonder how the outcome would be if 1. You collected all 4 talking cards. 2. You revealed all of them completely. Dude.... this game is EPIC in every way possible.
2 HOURS IN..My bind is completely blown away by this game.. WTF am I spiraling into. 2nd, scroll version. I feel like the game just DLCd before our eyes!

Scrybe of the Dead - Stinkbug
Scrybe of the Beasts - Stunted Wolf
Scrybe of the Technology - The Stoat
Scrybe of the Magicks - NOT FOUND -- I think that is the "creator" of those inky cards he has gotten (Hentai..haha). Although, the Wolf and Lechy aspect doesn't match,, unless Lechy is the Wolf...Hmm. I wonder as the Scrybes reveal themselves, their name changes upon final metamorphosis? Does the ending or route change depending on the Scrybes you have and does the Metamorphosis stage create other alternatives?
-CONCLUSION-
So many questions. So many conclusions. So many ways to navigate through your own psychy to figure out all of it.... Now imagine creating that in a CARD GAME!?

I think Leshy is the beasts since he uses animals, and the wolf is the magicks since they both have 1 eye in the picture.
Edit : Also @ 2:02:33 it clearly says that Leshy is the beats too.
It's obvious that the Stoat is P30, for his appearance changing to a computer every run/death/victory. Magnificus is obviously the stunted wolf, since he only has one eye and you need that eye to free him. Stinkbug keeps mentioning death so obviously the scribe of death and Leshy no brainer the scribe of beasts since he uses the camera and is clearly Leshy.
You are both correct! I think my mind was so blown away I completely messed up the scrybes.

@@pandaisbadatgame Watched Markiplier's playthrough of Inscription, and he used Oroborus as his instant win card, he buffed it to the point where it had 15 attack, and 15 health, it's also really cheap, that card is broken.

I love how he doesn’t notice the stote changing. He changed in the last few videos to a more square look. Now he’s even more so with a helmet looking deal just like the stink bug changing.

In case you didn't noticed, the Stoat, the Stinkbug, and the Stunted Wolf were the other Strybes that Leshy had trapped inside his beast cards. You might have noticed the three talking cards start to slowly change their appearance when you get closer to defeating Leshy..
The Stinkbug starts changing to Grimora, the Stoat starts changing into P03, and the Stunted Wolf starts changing into Magnificus.

I never saw what the ring worm does, it poisons the survivors at the camp fire. Making them disappear for the rest of the game.
i didn’t realize for the longest time the cards with people’s names on them are probably just other players that failed too-
