The current meta in destiny rn is absolutely horrid. I enjoyed myself 0 times this weekend playing this mode. Omni LoW and a handful of cheaters.
@brummyuk it's also not CoD or a pvp focused game. The pvp does need some work, but it's better than it used to be.
The AA on this weapon needs to be tuned down anytime you face someone with it no matter how much u flinch them 90% of the time they’ll land that headshot lmao

That’s my go to Control stomping build-but man idk it doesn’t work super well in trials
@@carterpeachez7523 I use it in trials in short range maps occasionally. I'm not the best pvp player tho so most the time I'm just using drang.

I would have to say Harmony isn't really that good I know in some situations the damage buff can help out but its not a reliable perk if your running a special and a primary. Its really only good if you have alot of special ammo or if your running double primary.
trials is so unfun in the current meta outside of the top players. i’m improving my skills and i would like to see how i do in trials but it’s such an awful experience every time

Bow shotgun really only works on maps like widows court
drang is just a mini last word, use it with sturm for sure

How about you run a copycat where your whole team copies the most toxic loadout used by the other team? If they aren't running anything toxic, run the most (or least to make it more challenging) meta that they are using. I'd watch that.

Trials has become a complete joke, yeah ive gone flawless plenty of times up to this point... in my opinion its become Nothing but ability spam, special weapon one tapping BS. LOW left & right or Jotun. First weekend i have Not participated in a long time. Not to mention its very unrewarding you can spend countless hours an get nothing of value. armour anyone can unlock full sets first two weeks, ghost shell random, emblems going light house once, weapons engrams which u get plenty of. Aim assist is absurd, we dont even have dedicated IP... there's still cheaters. I get it that people want a comp mode in destiny but its like when you have barely 2.5% of the whole community playing the mode while everyone else avoids it is not healthy. Yeah we can make the argument its only for the "Best players" but what are you actually doing to get those wins? The cheese your using against your opponent? Its very unbalanced the algorithm doesnt even work properly. an Gernader jake's 3rd card i believe here was a team who said F*ck it im not playing this game cause they know its a loss. If bungie cant separate the sandbox from pve to pvp then pvp itself will never become enjoyable an balanced. This is not Destiny 1 anymore people forget that sometimes we got away with it early on but not anymore. Even with the addition of cross play 20 million + new players the overall participation % is crazy low.
Lorentz Driver and Arbalest have no place in PvP. They're fundamentally broken. Less zoom than snipers and even some scouts allowing them to be used at all ranges, generous aim assist, shoot through flinch, crazy body shot damage, kills supers, etc... They're simply just not ok. I also don't think Glaives have any place in PvP. Fusions can if they are made to be shotgun counters instead of straight up primary weapon counters that literally replace your primary weapon. LoW is obviously busted. GLs shouldn't be as good as they are. Snipers shouldn't be able to build into flinch resist nearly as much as they currently can. Shotguns shouldn't have a pellet spread increase every time u slide or jump. Thats bs. Shotguns are currently the most balanced special weapon in the entire game. As things are currently I think shotguns, snipers, Forerunner, Trace rifles, etc... are for the most part all fine except the sniper flinch part. I think Fusions, Linears and LoW are broken. I think GLs are stronger than they should be. I think Glaives weren't meant for PvP. I dont think you should be able to shield and block 75% of incoming damage. Melees in this game are way too strong and the servers can't even process them well so dealing with someone meleeing u with a Glaive is not a fun experience. Glaives are special weapons which were made to be mained instead of your primary and I dont like that for these. Im fine with that for Trace rifles, Forerunner, etc...
if you’ve ever played with glaive you’d know they are incredibly inconsistent both with projectile and melee. the block suffers the same issues that everything in the game does due to the terrible destiny servers
however if they ever fix these things they will be immensely OP. shottys are some what balanced but after playing with them for first time in like 1 year they’re still very easy. definitely shouldn’t be changed tho. agree about snipers you can empty a mag into them and still snipe u.
and don’t even get me started on the LFRs they are literally heavy weapons they are not tuned any differently to the heavy’s. lorenz has more perks than queen breakers and you spawn with ammo only difference is it does a little less body damage now.
@@maxrichardson5252 yep. I agree with all of this. Glaives are kept in check by are shit servers but if that was to change they'd be broken instantly.
