      Hi Kuya! We bought our ticket through Klook and took a bus from Kaohsiung. But I don't recommend this, we paid a bit more because we bought our ticket through Klook. I would recommend just walking into one of the bus companies and buying the ticket there. There are multiple bus companies that offer direct shuttle from there. For going home, there are public busses that come directly to Fo Guang Shan back to the city. As long as you have your easycard, you'll be good!

      As for Charlie, he was not our official tour guide! Haha, he is our friend that we met in Taipei. As far as I know, he does not officially offer tours but he does run language exchange meetups in Taipei. I would recommend attending them to meet locals and other travellers!
