You can see Ebern (the Arrancar Quincy guy) using the same hollow bait that Ishida used way back when he was first introduced. That's where all of those hollows came from. Also, Ichigo didn't use his bankai there in the manga, but the animators wanted to flex, and after 10 years I don't blame them.
10 years of waiting...the results...one of the best anime of the year and Tite Kubo also added elements to his original story !! So those who read the manga and the newcomer both gain from the anime ! It's an important success...because it give a clear message that older anime can ve work on and finished ! We want Claymore and a property version of Berserk please !!
Yup claymore is one of the series that if I had the money would personally fund until the ending. Air gear is another one. Hell spice and wolf is getting a reboot/remake soon as well which was announced last year. Could be a double edged sword though. We see what's happening with the movie/TV industry and how they just recycle old IPs
To be fair, blue by in large does look better. Changing the color back here was clearly done for contrast between the intermingling powers we get this season. I do miss the more personalized auras from before though.

Bleach always had a special place in my heart. I watched as a kid and now I watched TYBW as an adult and you guys are now a part of that emotional memory. I discovered this channel when you started reacting to Bleach and I was studying for college, I took my exame as you watched Nnoitora and Kenpachi fighting and now you're starting TYBW (on TH-cam at least lol) as I'm about to finally enter university. Uffffff this is the best comeback of all time, this first ep of the new arc of Bleach is a work of art, so far I'm still impressed with the animation and the artistic style it has, IT'S AMAZING!.
I imagine Patreon has told ya already, but juuuust in case: Ichigo’s manga canon colors are yellow for his powers instead of blue and his Bankai is black instead of black and red. That first slice you see was Ichigo’s. You can notice a few changes like that compared to the older anime because they are staying more accurate to Kubo’s designs now.

The fullbring arc gets too much hate. It's my second favorite behind the blood war. It was short, and extremely satisfying. I was completely shook when Ginjo turned out to be the villain and was very happy when Rukia gave Ichigo his powers back
After 900 years of watching the older episodes, they finally would catch up; after another 90, they would finally watch the first TYBW episode; and after 9 more years, after finally catching up, they'd spend another 900 years reacting to the next half of the TYBW. Ichigo, Orihime, Uryu and Chad are still in high school and they are 17🦄🌸 Three! Ebern is also using a Quincy weapon. Know how they use bow and arrows, his is just different. But yall will see as time goes that they all have various weapons that differ🥴 Four! Idk if yall have noticed, but the Wanderich/Sternritters are based off of the German Nazi🥴 you'll pick up on the vibes too😭(Again, pretending like yall aren't caught up🤣😭) Lastly! I missed it the first watch, but if you look when the 2 soul reapers showed up, someone had broken a "hollow lure" like the one Ishida used against Ichigo in their first duel. Also, when Ichigo kicked Eberon out his window, Orihime was quick to open the window. XD
They did a good job of showing that even Ichigo needed to use his bankai to keep up with the first one that shows up; the scout. Old Man Yama did bring the heat. He was like "Security? I am security" lol
Arrancar and Vizards are similar but different. Vizards are shinigami with hollow spirts that can summon a mask. Arrancar are hollows with out masks with shinigami traits
Ichigo's power is now gold. It was blue before but in the manga it was gold. Also, his bankai is no longer black and red. Now it is black and white. The rest is spoiler SPOILER WARNING . . . . "Imagine them having to let Aizen out to help." :)

ICYMI: Ichigo's Getsuga was never supposed to be blue in shikai and black/red in bankai form. That is the anime only decision. Now that Kubo (author) is actually involved in the production, he's fixing a lots of things, and you'll start to see a lot of these "changes" like getsuga color, Rangiku's hair color etc.
It was Ichigo who released the golden getsuga tenshou to save the young Shinigami. His getsuga tenshous we're always golden the anime studio had it wrong the whole time. They finally corrected their mistake.
You're right...he didn't need to go bankai for those hollows....it was a pure fanservice moment for the fans who waited 10 years for this arc
