Hello, loving the new video formats, i have one question and that is how do i take the last two corners in terms of break and throttle input. i have a club100 race at rye house coming up and i rlly dont want to mess it up 🤣
Did I not put it in the video 🫠 I thought I did. So the left is flat. Then once you get off the left kerb you travel around a kart length. Quick, heavy dab of the brake to get the back to start to rotate, once the front has gripped get back on the throttle. There is no set acceleration point. It’s mainly just once the front has gripped
Yeah. The audio was copyright struck for a non copyright backing audio 🤷🏻♂️ I might just re release it though without the music backing. Through pylon, I enter full speed, I brake just at the end of the left hand kerb (which you run) then pick up the throttle about 1/3rd the way through because the exit is uphill so you can get on throttle earlier
All that under/oversteer makes you lose quite a bit of time over the lap? also that T1 apex, 1:37, there is still time to be gained by getting closer to that tire on the Apex.
Sadly the kart in question is a club100 and in its own nature of being so heavy it understeers like a boat. In a owner drive kart I would dial out some understeer by moving the fronts out around 10mm each side
Depending on the series you run in. I raced a Clay Club meeting a few weeks back and it was allowed. However I know JV at Club100 doesn’t allow all 4 wheels on that kerb. It’s always worth a listen at drivers briefing

It would be great if you could add the audio without the music backing. Watched your stuff for a bit and quite enjoy it so deffo worth it IMO
I will try to update the video this week. Sadly I think I will have to do a whole new post though. Unless I can figure out how to change the video
Is there meant to be sound? I can only hear you from 6m15 onwards for some reason
There should be sound all the way through. I can hear it on my end. Maybe it’s because I’m the creator?

The only thing I can think of is I got copyright struck a month ago for backing music so when it removed the music it removed my voice also?

Great vid but quick question: At 1:52 you are running all tyres over the white line, does this not exceed track limits?
Thanks for the question. You will find that in karting a lot of the time (not always) that kerbs and running kerbs are exempt from track limit rules

This a a Club100 kart (basically 2/ rental karts) I honestly don’t know the setup. I just drive them 🤣
