i have never met another person who has ever played these games as an american person but oh my god do i have so much nostalgia for it.. truly an amazing game. honestly blows my mind people still care about it

yea around 2017-2019 the franchise just died in the west- as a american i remember going to the toy store as a teen a couple years ago and you’d find yo-kai watch merch everywhere and I even have a medallion with a ton of yokai in it. but cause of the localization team pretty much going into production hell, the popularity in the west just died.

As a Japanese guy who played most yokai watch games, it’s interesting seeing all the yokai in English
Im a bit late, but yall are so lucky... the yw saga has been discontinued in everywhere except japan and some other asian countries. In my country we only got yw1 in 2016, yw2 in 2017, yw blasters in 2018 and yw3 in 2019... and most other countries didnt even get the third one... its so sad it wasnt that popular here...
@@hypedsoul Well, Level 5 also had such high expectations for yw, they spent a big ammount of money on making new games so it was obvius they were going nowhere

I always used to watch that video in 2016-2019. Yo-Kai Watch 2 is one of the best games ever made and one of my favourites.

@@forestplaysgames2012THIS. i remember when yokai watch was gonna be deemed the “pokemon killer” and it didn’t do that but it came damn near close. and that was RIGHT before pokemon started going downhill with their games. imagine THIS releasing around the time ultra violet/scarlet released.

I like how before Cap'n Crash's defeat, the Yo Kai hit him to the music. And Cruncha punching him for the finish to end the music was perfect. Was that intended? If so, great job!

Superstar Chris I did but what I did is I put my back row with like level 35 yo kai let them get level stealed switch over to my 99s and attack dame dedtime then killed the wicked and just done that

What I tried giving every exporb I had to my Komason ( who was komane by the time I got to dame dedtime ) then start out with my combo of faux kappa Jibanyan and mermaiden but they kept tanking because I kept forgetting I had nyait on Jibanyan and lost exactly 42 times then another 56 after beating kin and gin
I also found out with Hovernyan and those other yo kai with Nathaniel you can't die it's impossible
What I like about the game is that now when yo Kai attack they make their voices

Gutsy Bones is the easiest boss in yokai watch 2, Goldy Bones is nothing compared to Gutsy Bones, Goldy does more damage and has high defense

It's not in a chapter, you have to go to a place called Mystery Way in San Fantastico, earn the key from the link download in main screen, both games required, go to Mister E. and go into the Abandoned House, travel around and soon you will find Goldy Bones, Level Required at least, (level 38-45) Thanks Ronnie Copponi

Dame Dedtime and Demona was a fucking nightmare for me
Over 30 retries because i bad base yokai’s, no evolved, no legendary, i had high lv yokai, 2 from crank and i only won Demona because i didn’t use the aim thing to say that they aim at the blue mini dudes

The are less story bosses in this game than yokai watch 1, but way more post bosses than yokai watch 1.
Still stuck on Dame Dedtime after 3 years and saw what came next. Gonna be grinding all the way through college and half my life.
Actually, do grind, a lot. It worked for me. Yes, she will absorb 2 yo-kai's levels, but there's 4 other to fight with
Don't grind, put 3 yokai with absolutely low level (not too low to be oneshot but to be healed with prune onigiri), when 2 of them have their level stolen, target Dedtime, the loiters flickers or schemers will not deal high damage, Then you can roll your wheel to the back (yokai with high levels).

I cant of been the only one that took 10+ tries to beat deadtime but destroyed demona first try

When You are About to Take On Dame Demona, The Most Epic Final Boss Theme Shows Up. Nice 👍
Personally, I think that McKracken’s second form has the best theme. It is a remix of the main theme, for gods sake. Nothing is more epic than that. Except beating Kat Kraydel for the first time.

Robokoma requires a qr code and robonyan f is obtainable only if you buy the digital version of bony spirits

The final boss designs in this game are all brilliant, from the first to the last but..
Mckraken feels like cheap asf inspirt spam
Dame Demona steals the ability to use parts of ur damm watch, which is also cheap asf
Kabuking is on par with kat kraydel as the hardest boss in the game
Don Spiracy swaps out ur yokai for u, which isnt bad if u have a ballanced team.. but if ur relying on a specific group of yokai for the battle can be annoying

Fun dumb story: Thanks to the BS that is youtube, in mi region is FUCKING blocked the last episode (part 30) of Jonhe's playtrough of this game (not postgame, just the normal game), and I couldn't be so mad than ever, but thank godness this exist, I wanted to se how the final boss was like.
In short words: TH-cam blocked the final bossfight and because that they have ruined my expirience of his playtrough.

I think I have all but 2 version (those 2 from Yo Kai watch 2 dif version) Yo Kai games on my 3ds
Please tell me how to get Snartle without level 99 teams. Also, if you target Eyeclone's eyes, then they close and take less damage.
You can have my Snartle if you want it.
Jibanyan Choco Bars can I have it for the final boss
It depends, what watch rank do you have? If you have S Rank, it is the hardest, E Rank is the easiest to befriend Snartle. You get the point, but use Yo-kai that can inspirit Snartle so he can't move, and use good attackers. That might help, sorry if I wasted your time.

Swap do your back row
Let them get the level steal
Then focus on dame domona
(Not the Wicked)
So no more yo Kai can get the level steal
(THIS may not be correct this games hasn't came to the U.K yet)
