Thanks for another very informative video, glad to hear that the Liberty 43 was voted the best lanwmower by the Times newspaper. I could not agree more excellent product!! Well done everyone Allett, can i have a job lol!!
A really good instructional video. Thanks Austin, looking forward to getting a Kensington 20b. Saving up for a C20 as I write this. Allett are the worlds best grounds care equipment 👍🏻
Thanks for this video to demonstrate the basics in lawn striping. I am from Germany and to some extent lawn enthusiast and planning to retire my manual Husqvarna 540 reel mower by the Allett Liberty 43 next year. Right in time before the new season will start. May be I will combine this with a week of vacation with family when I buy this great mower from the country of its origin. Best would be to get a handover and first introduction by Austin Jarrett.
@@ALLETTMOWERSUK Hi! Yesterday I saw this video (th-cam.com/video/GSgS6NLp2Co/w-d-xo.html) showing the Liberty 43. The major advantages and disadvantages of the mower are shown in an objective manner. But the reviewer claims that the Liberty 43 might have a engineering failure, because the cut seems to be skewed.
Allett Mowers: Hi Allett-Team! Do I have in Germany the opportunity to test the Liberty 43 before buying. This kind of „edging“ would annoy me. And I don‘t want to make a fool of myself with my neighbours. More than 2.000€ with accessories is a lot of money.
Allett Mowers Hi Allett-Team! With edging I mean the edges visible when mowing double or more stripes in a row as shown in the linked video above in this conversion history. May be caused by unlevelled weight distribution of the Liberty 43.
Allett Mowers This one: th-cam.com/video/GSgS6NLp2Co/w-d-xo.html. From 12:20 to 15:30 the reviewer demonstrates the edges between stripes on his own lawn. He measures a weight difference between the left and right side of 7 kg as possible root cause. This might result in a difference in cut height of 1-3 mm.
Really great video, so much info and tips, thank you. One question about "burning in the stripes" - I've read it's good to change the direction of cuts periodically, so for example from north to south for a month then east to west the next. What's better for the grass? If it makes no difference to the grass health then I like the idea of one direction to get long term "burn in". Your views would be welcomed.
@@ALLETTMOWERSUK Thank you for your reply, yes that makes sense on the bumps and I have noticed the lawn has some, so time to change I think! Yes I've seen your other videos too - great content, thank you for sharing your knowledge and tips, much appreciated!
Fantastic Video! Keep up the good work!
12:55 wow the huge checker pattern looks super impressive, just need a mansion hah
defo prefer the double and triple width stripes

Hi Stephen
Glad you enjoy them! The presenter is Austin who owns Allett - he’s very good in front of the camera isn’t he!

Why do people even bother with boring old rotary mowers when you can have a cylinder mower and see all the grass being thrown in the front box?
Did Allett used to be Qualcast? Their mowers look like the one my Uncle had called a Suffolk Punch mower by Qualcast.
Hi Yes we bought the rights off Atco for the machines but not the names
I recognise some of those pics 😉
Any thoughts on a 20" Liberty?
What is the height of cut of each possition 4 - 3 - 2 - 1 and S (Kensington)
S=6mm
1=13mm
2=19mm
3=26mm
4=32mm
Are you teling us that a seeded hybird burmada, like a princess 77 varieties or tifway 419 doesn't stripe that well ? Holymoly !
Круто !!!
