VIDEO DESCRIPTION:
They say you're unstoppable when your passion meets production, and this girl's got it! Anette lives full-time in her skoolie while also having a mobile non-profit. Her photography project is "Celebrating the Resilience of the Human Spirit through the Power of Conversation and Photography." With over 560 portraits done in her rig, this woman is making a powerful impact on her journey.
The exterior is magnetic with its vibrant paint job, and the interior is fun with a movie star, backstage feel. Appropriate lines are meant to hang sheets for privacy and backdrops with several ceiling hooks to hang hammocks, props, and workout gear. Anette has the most excellent seat set up for hair and makeup, with a welcoming seating area for all of her models. She kept the wheelchair lift for all clients to have full access to her studio. Brilliant and so thoughtful!

Not only one of the best "tiny homes" I've ever seen in regards to both functionality and style, but also one of the best humans with such an incredible life and business. Would love to participate in her portrait project if she ever travels to my area - I truly appreciate the foresight to ensure wheelchairs/walkers are able to be used within the bus as well. ♡

I believe she must be the coolest person I've ever seen in this kind of videos. Most of people who goes for bus conversions are like "yeah, we had a mortage and the pandemic happened" (wich is ok, don't take me wrong) But this girl has a life purpose and a mission. You inspire me. I was just sitting here crying as I pulled out a handful of hair, due to my first chemo three weeks ago for my stage four cancer. Then I watched this. And you Do TRULY inspire me. Not only am I going to get thru this with beautiful strength 💪 but I will thrive. And my dream of a camper van IS within reach, no matter how far out of reach it seems.... Yes you truly inspire me. WOW ... I love the colour scheme & I just love the bus ... it all flows so beautifully ... very well thought out ... I'd be proud to own a bus like that ... my Husband is a retired press photographer after 47 years as a press, corporate events, weddings, portraits, stills & more photographer. I'm sure he would have loved a bus like that way back then. While shooting stills he put together a mobile dark room to use during their film shoots. Well done! 🌻🌻🌻

Things I've been looking for in these videos: people who decorate with actual style (I'm tired of seeing the "trendy" bland white, beige, and browns; black is refreshing), people who name their rigs (I don't understand why more folks don't do this), and large or disabled people living tiny. This video delivers. I love how she added an entire studio, too. Just amazing!

For your dinette, you could buy or make a Lagoon table. They are on a lot of video's of convered vans or buses. They can be set up and removed easily.

I had that exact same wall mounted fan there on the right! We'd mounted it to the ceiling in the corner and that little thing worked great, pretty powerful

Very nice build! There are a few sizes of Berkey’s available if you don’t have a lot of space. We have a 20’ travel trailer with zero extra space. Someone gave us a large Berkey and we couldn’t use it because it took up the space of another person (seemed like it) so it just didn’t work out so we put it outside. Then living in the south with 100° temperatures the water was always hot-like, make a cup of coffee hot! So just remember a couple of things to think about!
Yep I was super happy when the Berkey fit just where I needed it!

Well not the story so much as your mission together as a team!
As a scenic/candid photographer, who clearly prefers capturing moments as opposed to "pictures". Alnd in my mind posed photographs never told stories as well as candid photos did.
This concept of yours, this WORKING non profit organization of yours I should say, blows my way of thinking right out of the water!
You have managed to not only capture candid moments in time, but also capture someone's story! FROM THE BACK OF YOUR,(STUNNING I might add!!), BUS!!
Not even having to stand in a bush like a creepy stalker, often times for a VERY long time, in order to do it! 😆
After I was done crying, not from sadness at all. Not even from embarrassment, for being such a shameless photo snob, and thinking your set up would be somehow inferior to my way of shooting a photo! Though that one did manage to make me feel like a jerk for sure!
No, I cried because of the deep connection I felt to your way of looking, not only through your lens, but through your heart!!
I love the idea of skoolie living because I look at it as so much freedom and SO MANY opportunities to meet people and take photos of new friends and places our beautiful country and beyond. Like so many others yes. But I was also thinking in terms of seeing it all through my camera lens... there's not a lot of opportunity to really make "friends" or really human connection looking at it from that perspective!
You truly have an amazing mission in your life and honestly take so much time and care to make those connections and it helps to redirect some of my thinking a little bit without having the pleasure of actually meeting you. So thank you for that.
I would love an opportunity to volunteer and have my husband actually take part in your Beautiful Strength project! I would love to see his story on your wall as the backdrop to a photo you have taken of him one day!

@@beautifulstrength3306 Sure thing. A lot of what you said is relatable. I stopped caring what others thought as a kid, but I've watched the other half struggle with image and approval for decades. "The Greatest Showman" was also a good kick in the pants to help her realize the only approval she needs for her image and creative endeavors is her own.
