Welcome to the Holy Grail of live rock. The boys opened their concerts, in their early years, with this tune. I mean, I would be lost before the concert even got going. If there is a better hype song ever recorded, I'll eat my shorts. This song is just FIRE!
Yeah from 1976-1978 it was live wire intro but on there 1978 powerage tour they used riff raff as opener then converted back to live wire.on highway to hell tour
That RIFF is burned so hard in my brain it feels like I'm wired directly into the friggin amp, and always have been, when I hear it. God Bless the Riffmaker.
Bon died about 2 months after this concert. When asked if he was the AC or the DC, Bon said "I'm the lightening bolt". Check out the official videos to Let There Be Rock and It's a Long Way to the Top.
Bon Scott's AC/DC had a COMPLETELY different vibe, and sound than Brian Johnson's AC/DC. They were way heavier, and Bon Scott's lyrics, and legendary voice is what fueled that. Easily one of the best Rock vocalists of all time.
And you could understand him more! For a heavy rocker he was really clear in his delivery. Lacking with Brian Johnson, Bonn had more light and shade in his voice.
@@DeidreL9 Bon Scott choked on his own booze puke at the age of 34. Brian Johnson is 75 years old and still singing in the band. Brian's early voice was much more healthy and clear. Money says Bon would sound geriatric by now too if he were alive after that many years of screaming Satanically for our worship and pleasure.
Many of us feel Bon was the better frontman. No knocking on Brian but Bon had awesome vocals, fun sense of humor and unique style. Angus is just killing it. I saw them with Bon, he carried Angus around on his shoulders through the crowd.
The Bon Scott AC/DC back catalogue is a must listen to... Check out , “ Go Down” , Up to my neck in you” Squealer, Bad Boy Boogie” , “ Ain’t no fun waiting round to be a millionaire “ .... superb numbers 😉🇬🇧🎸😉
I am one of the lucky ones to witness this lineup of AC/DC 3 times before Bon sadly passed away!!😢 Then Brian Johnson stepped in helped The Boys from Down under Rocket to Legendary ROCK AND ROLL STARDOM 🌟 🤩 ⭐️ 🌠
Finally! Should do a reaction to the complete Paris '79 concert. There are so many highlights and it's stuffed to the brim with high octane energy. And of course, Bon Scott was the best frontman ever
Great stuff, Jayy. You really must check out more live Bon Scott era live stuff. You can find all these live with Bon: "Whole Lotta Rosie", "Bad Boy Boogie", "Let There Me Rock", "T.N.T", "Riff Raff", "Highway To Hell".
Love someone finally reacting to this Paris concert! This is Bon Scott & Angus Young pure and uncut. If you can find 'Sin City" from this show it is awesome!
AC/DC have one of the best rhythm sections in all of rock and roll, this is a superb classic concert too, LOVE me some Bon Scott! Cool reaction vid, thanks so much!
Bon has a special place in Aussie hearts, their second lead singer, but most memorable and probably the most beloved. You might wanna look for an old clip of them singing 'can I sit next to you girl' and ' I'm a rocker'. Did you know that when Angus picked up guitar as a kid, he broke a few limbs, jumping around the lounge room like that, lol!
Angus and Bon Scott were something to witness back in the day !! Pure energy from the opening note till the end of the show..got to see them 3/4 times and I'll never forget it..
Bon is the love of my Life!! I was only 8 when he passed, but I was listening to him and reading lyrics from 5yo. Baby of 6 I knew what was up 😅. I still love him and listen Every Day!!
Wow get this. I use to sneak into the Pubs in Sydney when I was only 12 and watch this band at their peak, then finally the world found them. Bon Scott what a stage presence.
I had the chance to go to this concert, when it came out on blu ray I was very happy to own it! I had also seen them in a cinema hall in Berlin (Kant Kino) in 1977, they weren't very well known yet, I even found a vinyl of this concert many years later! ...
I’m here late so I’ll just say Great Reaction JAYY. You could listen to anything from this concert and it’ll be awesome. Some young AC⚡️DC with Bon Scott he can’t get much better than that. I love that Angus Young is your spirit animal I feel you girl.😀👍❤️✌️🌼
When other fans ask me what made me become in AC/DC fan. My answer; Live Wire live in Paris 1979-12-09. After this, i download all AC/DC concerts available on the internet 1977-1979. i got shocked how Angus changes every solos every night during Rocker, Bad Boy Boogie, High Voltage. those gigs from 1978-1979. I mean you cant stop. Then those Brian Johnson gigs during 1980-1981. I love this band.
One of the great things about this concert filmed in 1979 was no studio overdubs were on it... AC/DC filmed it for French TV only, I think... but after Bon Scott died in 1980, it was gold footage... the filmakers released it internationally. The band was not happy... but nothing they could do. It became the concert movie 'Let there be rock -the movie'
Along with The Band's The Last Waltz and Talking Heads, Stop Making Sense this concert is the greatest live performance on film. Every song on it is incredible.
I love all ACDC but the Bon Scott era was the best. He was one of the greatest frontmen ever (so much swagger) and i think the band was at its peak way back then and have sustained it ever since.
This was from the video " Let There Be Rock " live in Paris. If any concert you wanna see , this is one you MUST react to with front man of Rock n Roll Bon Scott !!! ⚡🎸🤙
I think it's crazy that a couple months after this performance, Bon Scott, a legendary singer, died and only a couple months after that Brian Johnson would become another legendary singer.
Brian Johnson joined AC/DC in 1980... so all performances from then r w/ him. Bon Scott was filmed a few times w/ AC/DC from 1975 til 1979. This was 1 of his final performances in concert. Axl Rose of Guns N Roses sang the last AC/DC tour in 2016... there's footage of his concerts on TH-cam.
I’m 54 and this is my fav song by AC/DC I wanted to see them on their fly on the wall tour but they were banned from Vancouver for 5 years for blowing a hole in the one coliseum in 1982 N But see them on their blow up your video tour in 1988 Sand let me tell you I’m glad I did
Excellent choice on the song and which version to react to Jayy! Your AC/DC reactions are always the highlight of my day! Angus was only 24 here, was really wild, Bon was in excellent form also. There aren't too many versions of Live Wire to watch, though. This is one of the early ones that Brian just can't pull off. Until Axl Rose filled in for Brian to finish their tour in 2016-2017, they hadn't played this song live since 1982!
Love watching your reactions to AC/DC. You seem to really enjoy Angus. I would love to see your reaction to High Voltage (Rock & R0ll) live at Donington 1991. Angus is in rare form and puts on one HELL OF A SHOW!!!!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE !!!! Looking forward to it.
You should check out the live 1976 video of AC/DC performing It's A Long Way To The Top If You Wanna Rock N' Roll to see an even younger Angus Young! I think he always headbanged since the beginning of the band if I am not mistaken! :)
Ahhh, the Pavillion de Paris. Prior to being a premier concert venue it was a slaughterhouse/meatpacking warehouse. Many famous rock and pop bands performed at the Pavillon when their tours visited Paris, including The Who, ABBA, AC/DC, Pink Floyd, Supertramp, Kansas, Bob Marley, Queen, The Rolling Stones, Ringo Starr, Aretha Franklin, Neil Young, Earth, Wind & Fire, David Bowie, Iggy Pop, Bob Seger, Bruce Springsteen
Jayy - keep going with the early Bon stuff. Much of their stuff prior to the Back in Black (BiB) album (1980) is under-represented in the reaction game because most people became aware of them after BiB. There are a lot of videos out there of them performing over the studio version with Bon and Angus on fire. I have always called him my spirit animal, too. If you want a couple of suggestions; Its a Long Way to the Top (if You Want to Rock n Roll)" (on a flatbed truck driving the streets of Sydney version). "Shoot to Thrill" "Shot Down in Flames" (both stage performances), and of course "Sin City", performed live on the Midnight Special - their first appearance on American television. You want FIRE, that Sin City performance will blow your mind.
GREATEST BAND OF ALL TIME!!!!!
AC/DC the greatest live band ever 👍👏👏👏👏👏👏
Welcome to the Holy Grail of live rock. The boys opened their concerts, in their early years, with this tune. I mean, I would be lost before the concert even got going. If there is a better hype song ever recorded, I'll eat my shorts. This song is just FIRE!
Riff raff to open 🤘🤘🤘
Shut up and show us the guys
Malcolm's favourite song
Riff raff
Yeah from 1976-1978 it was live wire intro but on there 1978 powerage tour they used riff raff as opener then converted back to live wire.on highway to hell tour
Enough energy is this to light up the universe
That RIFF is burned so hard in my brain it feels like I'm wired directly into the friggin amp, and always have been, when I hear it. God Bless the Riffmaker.

Your love for Angus always makes me smile. :)
Bon Scott's AC/DC had a COMPLETELY different vibe, and sound than Brian Johnson's AC/DC. They were way heavier, and Bon Scott's lyrics, and legendary voice is what fueled that. Easily one of the best Rock vocalists of all time.

@M Bon Scott choked to death on his own booze puke. That lifestyle makes anyone stinky.
Many of us feel Bon was the better frontman. No knocking on Brian but Bon had awesome vocals, fun sense of humor and unique style. Angus is just killing it. I saw them with Bon, he carried Angus around on his shoulders through the crowd.
They are the best Rock in Roll band of all time. Just lesson to there music it is the best Rock in Roll band of all time and I believe that too!!
Overdose, Sin City, Down Payment Blues, Touch Too Much, Problem Child.............
Up to my neck in you is my favorite AC/DC' s song
I am one of the lucky ones to witness this lineup of AC/DC 3 times before Bon sadly passed away!!😢 Then Brian Johnson stepped in helped The Boys from Down under Rocket to Legendary ROCK AND ROLL STARDOM 🌟 🤩 ⭐️ 🌠
The real ac/dc ,raw and simple,no PA just a guitar in a Marshall stack and go like hell
Finally! Should do a reaction to the complete Paris '79 concert. There are so many highlights and it's stuffed to the brim with high octane energy. And of course, Bon Scott was the best frontman ever
Yes, gotta be my fav show Paris '79.
I think the Apollo concert is a better show. Especially opening with riff raff. Paris is great too though.
It’s fantastic
check out the whole concert....you'll love it!
When all other rock bands would be singing , Bon took it to the next level !!! ⚡🎸
When you have the time, watch the entire concert.. fabulous
Do all of the old stuff with Bon, and watch Angus do his thing live!
Seen them live in Cleveland! Best concert I've ever seen! World Series of Rock!
Your taste in music is amazing.
And yes he plays,
(no fingers wrong) while like that..... 👍 😊 a difference class altogether 😊
Great stuff, Jayy. You really must check out more live Bon Scott era live stuff. You can find all these live with Bon:
"Whole Lotta Rosie", "Bad Boy Boogie", "Let There Me Rock", "T.N.T", "Riff Raff", "Highway To Hell".
Complete and utterly awesome rock and roll! They bring to the table! And serve it RAW!
Yes, Welcome to the Family. The Band is very Blue Collar, work, humble, and very talented and CRAZY LOUD,
Try the whole Powerage album, excellent as expected.
Angus Young...guitar prodigy...guitar god. I've never seen anyone move and play like him.
Bon was the best AC/DC's frontman.....my favorite rock singer
Love someone finally reacting to this Paris concert! This is Bon Scott & Angus Young pure and uncut. If you can find 'Sin City" from this show it is awesome!
There is NOTHING that compares to Angus Young in his prime on stage. Goddamn
Loved that you knew it was bon within the first 10 seconds! Bon acdc is the shit!
OMG- you rock hahaha- I just love your reactions!!! Bon Scott is the sh**! And I'm glad you got to see this video - I just love you!!!!
AC/DC have one of the best rhythm sections in all of rock and roll, this is a superb classic concert too, LOVE me some Bon Scott! Cool reaction vid, thanks so much!
Its almost a crime to be that good, Bon Scott what a stage presence.
Great reaction !! Great song, Angus was a wild man onstage and NO ONE could replace Bon Scott !!
I wore the hell out of my vinyl High Voltage Album, this tune is burned into my memory forever.
Angus and Bon Scott were something to witness back in the day !! Pure energy from the opening note till the end of the show..got to see them 3/4 times and I'll never forget it..
Great reaction, loved the enthusiasm! This whole concert is amazing, so please react to all of the songs from it
Great reaction. I saw this video in 1987 when I was 15. Been judging every band of this concert.. This whole show in it's entirety is unbelievable.
Holy S&^T! Someone actually reacted to this!!! THANK YOU!!
Straight on here ..... accadacca fans know this. 😊
I really loved your reaction. Please react to more of the Bon Scott era.
They are on Fire in this clip/song.
You " MUST " react to this whole concert !!! I guarantee you will lose your mind & not be able to sit in your chair !!! ⚡⚡⚡⚡🎸

Good song good reaction
I had the chance to go to this concert, when it came out on blu ray I was very happy to own it! I had also seen them in a cinema hall in Berlin (Kant Kino) in 1977, they weren't very well known yet, I even found a vinyl of this concert many years later! ...
Look for "AC/DC - LIVE Apollo Theatre, Glasgow, April 30, 1978 Full Concert". The energy is OFF THE CHARTS.

This '97 concert movie is a time capsule for what Rock music is all about.

I never got into the second singer. This guy here was the one
Good example of why us old schoolers prefer the Bon Scott era.
I love all ACDC but the Bon Scott era was the best. He was one of the greatest frontmen ever (so much swagger) and i think the band was at its peak way back then and have sustained it ever since.
The Bon Scott era when AC/DC truly rocked
This was from the video " Let There Be Rock " live in Paris. If any concert you wanna see , this is one you MUST react to with front man of Rock n Roll Bon Scott !!! ⚡🎸🤙
I've been looking for that movie let there be rock but can't find it
@@russe19642 you can purchase it on DVD. If you look for it on YT , they have most of the footage but not all.
Bon Scott, the frontmans frontman.
Please watch AC/DC Bad Boy Boogie live 1978 (BBC Rock goes to college)…more 18yo Angus and bon being awesome!
I think it's crazy that a couple months after this performance, Bon Scott, a legendary singer, died and only a couple months after that Brian Johnson would become another legendary singer.
The Paris concert or the Glasgow concert are the bomb.
Brian Johnson joined AC/DC in 1980... so all performances from then r w/ him.

I didn't know a person could be someone's spirit animal..lol... but why not? Angus was the live wire of ACDC. He was so energetic.
I’m 54 and this is my fav song by AC/DC
I wanted to see them on their fly on the wall tour but they were banned from Vancouver for 5 years for blowing a hole in the one coliseum in 1982
N
But see them on their blow up your video tour in 1988
Sand let me tell you I’m glad I did
Now you know that there's much more to Thunderstruck & the River Plate show 😏🎸
Nothing wrong with Little AC⚡️DC Live Wire ! Live in 1979 with Bon Scott even better. ⚡️❤️✌️🌼
Bon Scott is the best I 💘 him Rip Bon Scott and Malcolm Young miss you both
Great Band we actually do this tune and the crowd goes crazy.
