Yes as of this year the ALCO #7 has left the railroad. They now have two SW1500 that are painted black #9 and #10, and two brand new EMD switcher locomotives painted green and black #11 and #12.
Are you kidding ? You evidently don't have a clue that an Alco locomotive is supposed to sound like that... They smoke and growl and chug along while doing the job as good as Any EMD switcher ever built...
@Livingchaos5623#7 is on the Craggy Mountain Line, #5 is scrapped, and i don't know about #6 yet
@ Alex Paumen, just to give you a little update on #7 she now painted as a Tuxedo Southern S3
ALCO locomotives -- as rare to see on American railroad tracks as cabover semi trucks are to see on American roadways
Thanks for uploading! Cool shots. The ARC normally doesn't get much attention.

She's been restored, and still running. Retired from switching, but still runs 😃
@@baileylynn6481 that’s great to hear
Definitly can't wait to see the two new engines.
WOW... its the Junebug!
Wow, cool. Are the SW1500s currently in service on the Espee?
How'd you get this close to the action for so long? You must have some serious connections. 5 stars!!
I have seen several S2's and S4's
The ARC are getting two EX: southern pacific SW1500 sometime late this year to next year.
I don't know.
I do know the owner/General Manager Benjamin Zachary, and some of the guys that work there. Thats how I know they are getting two new locomotives.
Wow there's gotta be something or other that needs to be lubed on that train.
Awesome video.
Great Switching action !
