    Omg this is so helpful!! I don't have Parkinson's, but I've been having a myriad of bizarre movement episodes. Like tongue tremors, Chorea etc. I'm waiting for a lumbar puncture and an MRI to check for encephalitis antibodies. I've had episodes where I either have like 'slow motion' movement or I'll just freeze on the spot. This has helped me realise that, no, I'm not crazy- that freezing on the spot is a neurological symptom. Certain antibodies can cause Parkinson's-like movements, which is why they are testing me for them. I'll be sure to tell my neurologist about these freezing episodes (I didn't now how to explain them!)

    I have a question, if all the Parkinson's individual experience delay reactions, how''s the guy on the elevator able to turn his head around?

      Hi Rob, thanks for your question. Parkinson's is a complex condition with many potential symptoms, and everyone's Parkinson's is unique to them. People can experience quite different symptoms from each other and may not be affected by some issues such as slow response. There is a bit more info about Parkinson's symptoms here if that's helpful www.parkinsons.org.uk/information-and-support/parkinsons-symptoms

      @@brandonhealy7158 even though it affects your lower body(sorry if sounds like i dont believe you because i do) when you experience freezing are there any speech or breathing difficulties?

    • @brandonhealy7158
      @brandonhealy7158 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@quarf53206 No, well not for me at least. I’m just immobile until I can start moving again. It can be quite scary because you’re more prone to falls while frozen.
      Luckily, there are different exercises that you can do to “thaw” yourself.
