Why doesnt WOTC standerize the shrink wrap!? When the wrapper looks different from every manufacture how are we (the consumer) supposed to know whats been tampered with??
All the players know how to improve the company, and it's just mind boggling that they don't do the absolute obvious thing. Like when they hired Mr. Beast, they didn't even tell him to advertise on his own channel. Here's someone with 63 million subscribers, and the only advertising was on the Wizards channel, meaning that they're advertising to the people who already play the game, not Mr. Beast's 63 million subscribers. Mind boggling.

I'm going to unfortunately challenge that comment about breaking even. I picked up a box two days ago that waaaaaay underperformed. The average value of 42 rares was $2.50 (only two fetch's) and 7 mythics averaging $12.58 each. So it goes.
I was in line at walmart the other day and decided to buy a pack. Grabbed one, then had a weird feeling to buy the second pack too, just in case.
Sure enough pack one was terrible. Getting to the end of pack two I felt like I lost money...then a Scalding Tarn showed up.
Decided to quit while I was ahead. Lol
The real scam was the friends we made asking the way

I opened 1 valued at 150ish and i opened one valued a 500ish so it's definitely a volatile product. Both are up on my channel btw.

It's been known for at least a decade when m11 or m12 (whichever had bolt and uncommon) when players noticed that you literally see bolt about as often as a bulk rare, it's literally less common to be in the slot. Happened again with monastery swiftspear (the R 1/1 with haste+prowess)

A double rare pack in Modern Horizons 2 doesn't really mean anything. Most of the rares are worth under $2. The only rares that matter are the fetch lands (there are a few exceptions). Even some of the mythics aren't really worth anything, such as Thrasta.

once you open 2 or 3 of a box you really start to recognize the cards. after six i can basically tell you what every uncommon and up does, some of the commons that just don't do anything decent i just know as "oh, yeah, gives you a +0/+1 and some useless graveyard effect." i imagine for him it's that on steroids.

Got a 1 fetch box with a EV of 190$ yesterday (even counted uncommon and up over 1$).
Fetch was foil (Marsh Flats) but that's only a 2$ increase over normal value.
And got 2(!) foil mythics but were both weak (Garth and sketch Grist).
So now saving up for a Set box at Christmas...

I got boxes from three sellers, Amazon, TCG and TCG, the set box the first box I received was AWESOME From TCG!!!! the Collector boxes from Amazon 8 boxes was awesome, three Set Boosters not a flipping thing no fetch, no retro and slight cuts into the box that TCG refused to address, booster box amazon sucked ass

Just from videos and my own box openings, it almost feels like the fetchlands, Coffers, Urza’s Saga, and Yavimaya all take up the same slots. Probably just my imagination though.

I bought a set box last week. I got 1 normal scalding tarn, 2 arid mesa, a verdant catacombs and then a foil extended art Scalding. This set is freaking nuts.
