Before me put out the video, Whitney’s cousin was on Curtis King and referred to Whitney as Kendrick’s girl and that Drake was lying. He could have used that info. He used a video that was posted after the beef that was not verified to use as evidence of DV. The breakdown was lazy and bias.

Fr bro, I remember being so hyped when What's the Dirt announced his family matters' breakdown because I love the effort he invests and the way breaksdown the Disstracks. However, I was highly disappointed when i watched just the first 45 mins of the Family matters breakdown to the point that I couldn't even get through the rest of it. It just didn't feel as focused and authentic as the all the previous breakdowns on his channel. I wish him well and I hope he realises his mistake and stays in the facts and lyrics that are worth breaking down while avoiding personal bias and unnecessary opinions in his next upcoming breakdowns

I thought the Company Man only zeroed in on the “N-word 37 times” because that was the only main issue that was present in the breakdown, but your video is showing me that What’s the Dirt really dropped the ball on the video entirely by trying too hard to be a sleuth and inserting his own bias. We liked the 6:16 in LA breakdown because he literally made real connections in the lyrics with real evidence that were corroborated by real people. Bias was absent from that video. I cut off his video about halfway through because of all the clips played here. I saw a lot of comments on that video claiming WTD was "compromised" and I think that's such a silly narrative. This guy has been open about his bipolar disorder and talked about how his research can lead him to getting caught on certain ideas. I think that's what's happened here. Having lived with people with medicated and unmedicated bipolar, even if he is currently in a good place, it still seems like a classic case of research gone awry because he simply got too locked into certain details and followed too many rabbit holes, and his confirmation bias started kicking in. I think the length of his video tells that clearly. His previous videos were well researched and in depth, without being nearly as long, and that's because he didn't take as much time with those projects and didn't get stuck with so many loose ends and cringeworthy "connections". Idk I'm not trying to attack him for his disorder but that's the sense I got from the video. Maybe Kendrick has foot problems that flare up at different times. Changing to a shoe that provides more cushion and support is an option that folks use. He doesn’t wear those types of shoes all the time (based on the concerts that I have seen online).

Before me put out the video, Whitney’s cousin was on Curtis King and referred to Whitney as Kendrick’s girl and that Drake was lying. He could have used that info. He used a video that was posted after the beef that was not verified to use as evidence of DV. The breakdown was lazy and bias.

I thought the Company Man only zeroed in on the “N-word 37 times” because that was the only main issue that was present in the breakdown, but your video is showing me that What’s the Dirt really dropped the ball on the video entirely by trying too hard to be a sleuth and inserting his own bias. We liked the 6:16 in LA breakdown because he literally made real connections in the lyrics with real evidence that were corroborated by real people. Bias was absent from that video. I cut off his video about halfway through because of all the clips played here. I saw a lot of comments on that video claiming WTD was "compromised" and I think that's such a silly narrative.
This guy has been open about his bipolar disorder and talked about how his research can lead him to getting caught on certain ideas. I think that's what's happened here. Having lived with people with medicated and unmedicated bipolar, even if he is currently in a good place, it still seems like a classic case of research gone awry because he simply got too locked into certain details and followed too many rabbit holes, and his confirmation bias started kicking in. I think the length of his video tells that clearly. His previous videos were well researched and in depth, without being nearly as long, and that's because he didn't take as much time with those projects and didn't get stuck with so many loose ends and cringeworthy "connections".
Idk I'm not trying to attack him for his disorder but that's the sense I got from the video. I don't think Drake's people talked to him, or he received any money or threats or anything that would suggest he was "compromised", I think he was simply in too deep and ended up tripping over his own mess.

The money trees, the 37 niggas and the Whitney angle blew it for me tho. Still I appreciated it and his time he spent on it. I even gave it a like. But when he decided to become defensive especially towards Justin after it dropped, I lost a lot of appreciation for him. I know that video was taxing on his mental health but he could have done more research and really could have shortened it.
