    il talento della tebaldi su questa aria e impeccabile con colori chiari scuri toni grammatici e potenti. In teatro e in loggione particolarmete l'ascolto era come essere in platea, purtroppo voci cosi non ci sono piu'

      IT'S BANG ON PITCH.......TEBALDI NEVER LOWERED ANYTHING ECCEPT SEMPRE LIBERA....AND THE DUET OF BOHEME IN DEFFERENCE TO THE TENOR AND THAT'S ALL!

      @@luigicorvi1661 When she returned to the stage in 1964 with Boheme she lowered the duet a full tone (in Chicago at least), I think for herself and not Renato Cioni .

      @@ransomcoates546 idiot ! The Boheme 1st act duet is many times transposed down half a tone by tradition.. Tebaldi sang all her roles as were written, the only piece she lowered down was "sempre libera", as Caballé, Freni, Chiara and many other also lowered it.

    Logra expresar a la perfeccioncon su voz los contrates musicales pautados por las angustias del personaje, sin duda hay,, een algunos pasajes del aria, emisión de pecho pero perfectamente ligada al resto de la interpretación. Otra obra maestra de Renata Tebaldi

    Gli acuti non erano mai morbidi e rotondi, purtroppo. L'uso delle note di petto nel finale è esagerato e forzato

      Tebaldi Negli acuti il ​​timbro non è mai impoverito, mai un acuto opaco o sfilacciato. La Tebaldi divenne famosa proprio per la sua abilitá di cantare dal do centrale al do acuto con la stessa qualità di voce, la voce non perde qualità né nella smorzatura né negli acuti a piena voce.
      Maria Callas ha acuti molto stridenti e brutti, sgradevoli e la Callas non potrebbe mai avere "il colore" che ha la Tebaldi negli acuti.

      .....pare che in teatro non fosse così, il mezzo meccanico non ha mai potuto captare tutti gli armonici di una voce così potente.

      @@babbonatale9362 Quello che voglio dire è questo: tutti i soprani, la loro voce cambia quando raggiungono l'acuto, gli acuti della Callas sono di colore chiaro e stridenti e la voce diventa più sottile nell'acuto, lo stesso per Caballe. acuti chiari nel colore e stridenti nel forte, Antonietta Stella ha acuti tipo soprano coloratura, e con vibrato imperfetto, acuti con molte vibrazioni irregolari. Gencer: brutissimi acuti nel forte, sfilacciati, Leontyne Price sono 3 voci diverse staccate tra loro, gli acuti della Price sono filiformi, totalmente lirici
      La voce della Tebaldi non cambia nel passaggio all'acuto, il registro acuto della Tebaldi la voce ha lo stesso colore e lo stesso corpo, il timbro non si impoverisce, e la vibrazione è perfetta, il vibrato della Tebaldi è così incrollabile che lei gli acuti non hanno vibrazioni irregolari. Sono acuti dei veri soprano spinti acuti, con molto colore e corpo, di tipo granitici.
      Quindi questo è quello che non ho mai sentito da nessun altro soprano fino ad ora.
      È vero che Renata Tebaldi è più insicura nel Do act rispetto a Birgit Nilsson. Ma Tebaldi ha il suo Do e come ho detto sopra ha la stessa qualità di tutta la sua voce.
      E riguardo alla sicurezza, non vedo che Ghena Dimitrova abbia più sicurezza nel Do acuto, né Eileen Farrell, né Flagstad, né Ponselle, né Zinka Milanov, né Cerquetti, né tanti th-cam.com/video/7xg-Z3OBh54/w-d-xo.html

      Well... I would not say that... it is true we do not have the whole recording of Pacetti's and Di Giulio's Gioconda, but judging by their Suicidio I doubt Callas has no equal.

    tutto si può dire della Tebaldi come su qualsiasi artista perché tutti siamo liberi di dire con garbo le nostre opinioni ! oso dire che la Tebaldi era intonatissima! tacciarla di essere stonata mi pare un po eccessivo!

    Una buena versión de esta magnifica cantante, pero no se puede negar la influencia Callas en su interpretación. Aquí su voz me gusta más que en otras grabaciones en vivo o estudio. Un aplauso y viva.

    Une assez bonne interprétation du " suicidio" ,car on sent qu'elle a écouté les enregistrements de Callas très attentivement .Du point de vue vocal ,comment dire ? ..... Des notes graves splendides et sonores .Dans l'aigu en revanche c'est un peu hurlé et cela manque de nuances .Cependant ,une belle voix et une grande artiste .Mais c'est un rôle pour Callas ,elle demeure souveraine !

    I don’t know if the recording is bad or Tebaldi is no Gioconda . The high notes are forced and the voice is dry. The chest voice is in good condition, but it sounds like a duet for two different voices on two levels . It seems a kind of competition with Callas : What you can do I can do better ! But , unfortunately , it is far from better !

      @omarsomehow69 La Gioconda is a very tricky role. The singer needs "three" voices - lyric, spinto and dramatic ! For Enzo adorato, ah, come t'amo the soprano needs a pianissimo of the highest order - Callas did not have it in none of her recordings, but the voice color and feeling, compensate it. This cannot be said of Tebaldi - she just sang it, more or less. Milanov and Caballe had this famous pianissimo but were boring in the role. In Suicidio, again, the different registers appear: from Suicidio to ultima croce del mio cammin it is spinto, then - e un di leggiadre, volavan l'ore, the memories of the past need a flexible voice , coloratura ! From vinsi l'infausta to the end of the aria, it is the most dramatic soprano. Tebaldi had the huge voice, the low notes - but no dramatic expression. The "Voce d'Angelo" was always nice to listen to, but not very dramatically involved. On the other hand, Callas had the coloratura for volavan l'ore and the depths for the rest, in her first recording more so. Her problems were with the heights. But her Gioconda was a live, feeling and trembling character. Here is the basic difference between those two opera giants. I do not want to be without one of them - I think that in a way, they just complete each other. Tebaldi never had a trill, even though she sang some Rossini and early Verdi. Her middle and low notes were very good, but she was somehow reluctant to use them, for the highs' sake. Callas wasn't afraid of nothing and was ready to pay the price. She was a "bad" example for Moffo and Scotto, two good singers that wanted to be like her and sang EVERYTHING until losing their voice. Sass imitated her to the verge of ridiculous while Suliotis believed that at the tender age of 22 she could sing Abigaile in Nabucco, Norma and La Gioconda ! So, after all those years, we still stay safely with Callas and Tebaldi , for posterity.

      @omarsomehow69Tebaldi sang : Mefistofele (Margaretta needs a lot of coloratura / trills in her aria) , Faust (trills less), La Traviata, Don Giovanni, L'Assedio di Corinto, Olympia (SPONTINI), Giulio Cesare, Le Nozze di Figaro, Wilhelm Tell - ALL these operas need trills and a lot. And she did NOT have it, just a sweet voice ! But today , the standards are different - nothing is necessary, but a kind of voice and a well hidden mic.

      @omarsomehow69 In Traviata, the first act is the most problematic. It all depends on the teacher. Tebaldi's teacher was Carmen Melis, a verismo style singer. She did not have a trill, so she did not teach her pupils this. Callas studied with de Hidalgo, a coloratura, so she taught her pupils the art of bel-canto. I think that a thick and full voice, but with the necessary flexibility and a trill, can be a very good Traviata. It seems that TODAY, nobody teaches bel-canto. It means that Handel, Mozart, Bellini, Rossini, Donizetti and early Verdi will fall into oblivion. This is frightening !

      vincenzo ramon bisogni sono d'accordo! tutto si può dire di un artista (con garbo si intende!) la Tebaldi ha però un intonazione impeccabile e questo le è stato riconosciuto anche dai suoi più acerrimi detrattori! quindi si! a qualcuno serve una visita specialistica molto urgente!

      THIS VOICE WAS GIGANTIC IN THE THEATRE......AND HER MIDDLE AND LOWER REGISTER TOO WAS HUGE........THERE ARE NO FLAT TONES IN THIS PERFORMANCE......THE END IS STUNNING.......DENTRO L AVEL...IS INCREDIBLE.
