IL-2 Sturmovik: Battle of Stalingrad is a historically based game. It is the next generation of the legendary Sturmovik series of WWII flight-sim games. IL2 has a record option. Video is captured on replay.

I would highly recommend the new Kuban map. It's by far the best looking in the IL2 series, and probably one the the best ever created for flight sims. If you don't own it, you can test fly on it online. It's available for all on multiplayer, just find a server with it. Cheers

Great video. Wish the game was as true to the video as it aught to be but it is not. Ground targets in the game are unrealistic, sparse, and not very active. I'd like to see a little Battle Field 1 style warfare integrated into this game. Blood bodies bullets and a much improved crash model which this game needs badly. Also increase by 200% the number of ground targets and flak needs to be intense which it is not.
