An isolated convent in alternative 19th century Russia and a seemingly sweet young woman trying her best to be a good nun. Unfortunately, the other sisters don't seem to like her too much and treat her poorly despite her lovely nature. They send her out with a letter and that's where her story truly begins. But she isn't alone. Her travelling companion is an unusual one; THE DEVIL HIMSELF!
