I am kind of missing Mohit's old style episode breakdowns now where he used to breakdown each and every details, from every character's activity to last credit scores🙁
Episode 2 was even better, they are finally bringing up existentialism ideas about the Multiverse in Superhero movies. The fact that actual lives are at play. It all feels more meaningful. The cinematography is beautiful. And the lore is developed very smartly. The character interactions are so good. I really like how Loki makes use of its episodic format. The other MCU shows are just 6 hour movies.
Theory - the guy who took OB's sign is gonna be Phone Ranger. And Dox was working for Renslayer. Or an even crazier theory, Sylvie has done all this. Sylvie has used the tempad to cause all this shenanigans.

Dox is an older variant of Sylvie. Maybe yes, maybe she works for renslayer afterall.
But yeah about Sylvie with the tem-pad thing. I have one doubt. If all the branched timelines were actually erased then where did Sylvie go back to McD at the end of the episode?

There wasn't any kind of existential theme integrated in this episode.
Now it's getting complicated but more interesting too. But that sequence of Loki & Mobius interrogating
X-5 was too good. We got the old Loki vibes as we saw him in the 2012's The Avengers. I think till Episode-4, we will see Loki & Mobius finding Victor Timely maybe to fix the temporal loom.
But the season is getting more interesting episode-by-episode.
I think they should have showed a quick montage as every single timeline was getting destroyed.
An Impactful shot just like we saw in the end loki season 1, they could have done something like people and the whole earths disintegrating stuff, in a quick but bone chilling manner to actually make us feel that stakes are high and the amount of people and worlds we lost is really enormous. But they lost made it impact less as we just saw some employees sitting in a room getting emotional.

Just a theory. Did the timelines really get erased? Is it that easy to just erase universes from existence? Ultron in whatIf required a lot of years to grow to that level to eat universes.
And also, Sylvie went back to a McD. Probably the same one from the branched reality where people know who she was. So maybe the universes didn't really die, but just got seperated from sacred timeline.

I think branched timeline and multiverse are different things.
All branched timeless come under multiverse but multiverse doesn't come under branched timelines.
Every universe has its own sacred timeline and branched timelines.

And see. Whenever a branch occurs new people are born. Let's say 1 million people are born in the world after the branch is created and that number of new people that are born will increase with time exponentially. So, the quicker the timeline is pruned the less the number of people that die.
Only those people or objects that came into existence after a branch of timeline are deleted from the different universe in the multiverse
basically , each universe has its own sacred and branched timelines , with many parallel universe existing along side it. The spider society is kind of a TVA like figure for sony's spiderverse.
Sacred timeline is a combination of different timelines or universes in which Kang can take form.
I think miss minutes helping them with the temporal loom issue here makes more sense rather than having a Kang's variant

This series explaining the LOKI - as we know Loki had no identity ,he always try to figure out what he really is, his whole life was fake , and in general every indivizual has no absolute meaing or identity, each timeline, the new "you" , what is "you" actually . There is no true self , every thing is fake. Loki's theme is reflecting the Series. and Hunter X-5 actually show the reality to Mobious and Loki. I really love the response of Mobious to Loki's question about the purpose "this is my life now". - MCU is back after Iron man , Captain America's legacy.

This show *SEVERELY* lacked in showing Loki’s badass side. That snippet in S2E2 was a treat but that was it. He went back into being an overly emotional blank piece of cardboard. ☹️

I think brancehd timelines are multiverse are different things for example the timelines erased in 2 nd episode are timelines of 616 and there various alternate universe like 838 and if there are branched timelines of 838 and 616 they are meant to collide with each other so to stop this He who remains made TVA (838 and 616 just for examples)

Your point is quite good. The timelines they called sacred time line represent only universe 616. The multi timelines are within 616 universe. I think the TVA shown in LOKI is only maintaining the Universe 616 timeline.

Im bit confused on the timelines things because in spider verse and doctor strange it was reffered to universe 1610...etc but here in Loki it is called 616.011 ..etc so could these points just be minor changes in the sacred timeline like the 14million choices dr.strange saw

Main universe or Marvel where civil war, Ultron everything happened: 616(referred in doctor strange movie)
Any other universe: different number. Like 838 for illuminati and etc.
And branched timelines of sacred timeline(616) will be 616.xxxx this format.
So.. After doing some research I found out
There are 2 types of universe/timelines in the marvel comics
One is Alternate Universe/Timelines
And the other is Diverging Universe/Timelines.
Alternate Universes are completely different universe compared to the sacred tineline or 616 , like Tobey and Andrews spider-man
Diverging Universes are universes similar to the sacred timeline.They are like strands of a rope, so these would be just minor changes to the sacred timeline like a universe where Peter Parker is born a year later or he has a different costume.
And here in Loki I think 616.011,etc could be reffering to a diverging universe/timeline as if most of timelines are gone then how could secret wars or 1000 of Kangs shown in Quantmania exist
