    6:19 SO true and something I constantly have to remind myself when I see on everbee a crochet pattern that’s generated $38,000 in one month. One can dream though

    Digital patterns would be a great one to analyze (sewing, embroidery, crochet) because there is little information on the topic but it’s a big part of etsy. I’m in the crochet space and even before I become a pattern designer Etsy was the place to get patterns, other than Ravelry.

      If you're game, submit your shop and maybe we'll do an audit!

    Great watch and some great tips as always! Gives me some thing to think about for my own store 😊 one question I had was about when you mentioned “personalization”. I’m in Ireland so I’ve sold to America and Europe and I always wonder if Etsy takes into account the spelling of “personalisation” and “personalization”? Would someone searching for one term still see products for both terms?

    Great shop audit, lot to learn from these, please make more! But tell me how is it possible to write San Diego, California on Etsy as shop location when the lady is in Genova, Switzerland?

      I would like to know as well.

      She’s probably an American and has an American bank account. These are most likely print on demand products and printful or printify are located all over the US - so she can say they ship from San Diego which is perhaps where the POD hub is.

    • @nicole4dance
      @nicole4dance 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I think for that purpose there is is "Where the item ships from" section- that is where you give the POD company zip code, address. For shop location Etsy says that is the place where you are literally located, not any of your Pod company partner. I think she is not American, but that is not clear from the interview.@@amyyockel2777

    Hold on, just to be a bit different here, she said she wanted to open a second shop but got banned. Is that not possible as I thought we can do that?

      You're allowed to have multiple shops

      2nd shops are usually closed because they are selling things too similar to the first shop or other offending TOUs

    Is she using Etsy Plus for that carousel banner? I have been hearing that Etsy took those away...

    • @sabrinatart85
      @sabrinatart85 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Most people do not see those carousell banners because they are shopping on mobile apps , it does not show up and work on the apps. Basicly with that and the fact that 98% of peoplel never go to look at your main store front page , ( they come in on the listing and move from one listing to another ) It is waisted $$ to pay for that just to get a banner than is not seen .

    Hi. Most of the items aren’t boho. I love boho. My entire home is just that. The mugs I would buy for my daughter but would search cottage core, witchy vibe, mushroom mug. The blanket/throw, not boho. Not saying the products aren’t good but just not boho.

  • @Tawny593
    @Tawny593 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

    I hate to say this it, I don't like her products. They don't seem boho to me. I'm not sure she knows what that is.
    That butterfly heart blanket is not boho. Her designs seem Euro to me, which is fine for that customer. (I'm American but I lived in Europe.) Their color choices and designs are distinctly different.

    • @PunsandPixels
      @PunsandPixels 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I’m even more behind. I design crochet patterns and it takes time to create them. I have 18 items and that’s with items being bundles of the other separate ones

      Means nothing. I made 10k revenue my first year on 50 listings in the kids niche. But then took a long break from Etsy and now rebranding and changing everything.

      @@PunsandPixelsi would personally buy from a small shop like your . I go to Etsy for the small experience. I don’t want anything that looks like Walmart
