This is 100% true. Throughout the years I've had to drop people because they weren't right for me any more, or i felt like I was being used. Others I dropped weren't because I didn't like them, I just saw we were on different paths. You have to focus on yourself. Right now I can count on one hand how many friends I have, and that's just how I like it. It's better to keep fewer people around you, than many.

Your job is to get yourself out the hood, and it's their job to do the exact same for themselves. When you leave the hood, never go back to see those old friends, because many will be praying for your downfall.
