You sir, are a certified GENIUS!!!! I have really enjoyed this one in particular, especially with FINALLY getting to do some concurrency alongside
To Be Honest, this one is truly the most easy, straight and effective GRPC tutorial I have found on YT. As Akhil is saying in Video, Many other tutorials are on YT about GRPC, but this level of simplicity is unmatchable. Thank you very much, Akhil. Keep going.
Thank you so much for watching
So underrated channel. It deserves way more subscribers.
Thank you so much bro
please continue with more project videos. This is the most practical go tutorials in the web.
Akhil, great job and thank you so much that you put all your hard work and experiences into the videos. I really appreciate it, please keep doing so and do not stop. Undoubtedly I am having the best time to level up my skills.
Your work is fantastic for those of us learning Golang! Being in your channel has been incredibly beneficial to my Go learning journey over the past year. I'm really looking forward to the upcoming content on microservice development and deployments!
tthank you so much for watching, yes this type of content is what i'm planning
If I didn't immediately subscribe I didn't feel like I did you justice. Thank you so very much. I really do love to see engineers coming together to help than sell courses.
💯 Saying Thank You is not enough; I really appreciate your efforts and your time. Go ahead and help programmers. You are really deserving full respective.
Nice one been actually recently been looking into this. Looking forward to this
Great video! Looking forward to the videos where you use rpc's with microservices
Best channel for hands-on practice
Hi Akhil, you have a great content for golang, I have a request for you. Could you create a tutorial on Go-kit and kafka/nats jetstream for event driven microservices based projects. Lot of enterprise are adopting golang and what they require is a java spring like framework i.e go-kit for golang. There is very minimal documentation for go-kit that exist. Thankyou for your content.
Yes bro I have planned it, it's on of the videos on my roadmap
Waiting for the CRUD project using GO + GRPC
Its cool course
Thanks man, I have been trying to learn and understand grpc but i couldn't find any good tutorial on youtube that explained it in detail and explained its use-cases this tutorial did justice and cleared my confusion and fear of grpc thank you. I hope to see more videos on grpc in the future.
Nice one! Since its beginner friendly more explanation on bidirectional - channels will be easy to follow along
10 minutes into the video and I'm already feeling it. Thank you sir for the great video. Subscribing immediately
thank you so much for watching bro and the kind comment 🙌
Hype and engagement for the epic project!
Thanks, that was extremely clear and useful for understanding the concept and practice of grpc with Go.
Thanks a lot for watching 🙂
never realized that you've supported the channel with a super comment. thank you so much bro.
Loved the video. High quality content.
Waiting for more video.
Will love to see kafka video
hope you watched it
Great channel, love this channel, thank you Mr. Akhil, gonna watch another video from you to gain more knowledge 😁😁
I can't wait to see the bigger grpc project
Keep posting... u are gonna be so damn famous a day ! ❤️
Awesome! Thank you so much. I hope you continue to make more new videos
Thx, good lesson
thanks for watching bro
thanks!
Can you make a video on building microservices with Go and NATS Streaming?
wow just finished learning grpc with nodejs. thanks
thanks so much man, thats helped a lot!
Really good and detailed video and very useful one. Would have been better to provide the sources as well
Thank you very much for this. Really appreciate your effort and time.
The best man ever explaining every important thing,, more and more
what is the name of VM you are using or what triminal program you are using
great video, just needed timestamps
Hello Akhil, I am a beginner in golang with 2 years of experience in building mobile apps using flutter. I am currently learning about microservices and watched this video of yours for understanding gRPC. You explained it in very easy way I appreciate the efforts you put in your videos. The examples I saw on internet all of them have one thing common, they have client and server in a single project, can you please guide me how to actually call a gRPC on hosted servers.
U mean grpc Interaction with a server on a different machine ?
@@AkhilSharmaTech yes kind of
you are brilliant
done, thank you very much
Sir plz next..
Advance Thank you sir.
very good
In my mind
Golang = Akhil Sharma Sir
Great video as always! Can you create a project with Go and kafka?
Could you please make a full project on grpc-gateway with until error handling thank you
really a nice video...but one thing this video lacks is - you did not shpw what kind of go file is generated by proto compiler. You were using all the variables in methods by copying their name from side screen instead of actually looking out for those variables in the pb file
that was very helpfull thank you ♥♥
you sir, you flexin' hunh? :D
Always my bro, always
Hey, @akhil, you are fantastic; I loved your content.
I have a doubt, Why did you create a channel in bidirectional streaming?
He just simply copies the code from what he already written in advance for demonstration. However, this is not the flow any programmer writes code. Thus he missed to explain lots of stuff.
Can you do a video with go-kit and grpc?
Why can’t we use different ports for client and server ?
Hi Sir,
What tool do you use for the diagram?
Regards,
JA
your video is awesome but i don't know why you using channel in bidirectionstreaming? can you explain more detail in this case, please. Thank you for your sharing !!!
can you please create a project in goFR
Can we connect this gRPC with the client which is nextjs app or nodejs app? And would the network protocol still be tcp or http?
how do you usually deploy a GPRC on aws? EC2?
nice
If my client is on the NextJS Typescript end, then what to do?
Akhil please share golang
real time project with using mysql
52:29, i can't get my callSayHello to work. I have it the import statements too and there is no error. but for some reason I can't find callSayHello, but if you control + click the fn it takes me to the file. but it doesn't compile. what am i missing :/
Could you please also share the github link for source code . Thanks in advance
Bro, add stats so as to get metrics of our RPC call
The steps to make github module sync with Vs
Hi Akhil I'm getting an error at execution which you posted in git repository as undefined : callSayHelloBidirectionalStreaming
I got this error when instead of running "go run *.go" on the client and the server folders, I was running only the main.go files of each one.
Running "go run *.go" on both folders fixed my problems. Hope that can fix your too.
Hi @Akhil I have been getting a similar error eg .\main.go:31:2: undefined: callSayHelloBidirectionalStream on the functions starting with the unary all the way to bidirectional whenever I run the client side. What could be the issue?
Same here
I got this error when instead of running "go run *.go" on the client and the server folders, I was running only the main.go files of each one.
Running "go run *.go" on both folders fixed my problems. Hope that can fix your too.
Client and server should be on the same server??
awesome. how can i connect with you.

Do we need client, cant we go by bloom rpc?
Hi bro. You don't need client. Bloom RPC is no longer maintained. Also I recommend not using GUI because they keep changing and compromise the project. However I can create a video about this.
where i can see sources?
I just started learning go. Am facing errors when it comes to using variable other file within main.go file. It retuns an errror like .\main.go:6:30: undefined: Name. I have searched everywhere but am not getting the solution.
Did you look at the file main.go line 6, character 30?
@@da_revo5747 I was able get around it. Thank you
@@ageconcepts9829 Hey what was the solution, actually I m also getting the same error
