Rachel tried to stop Emily's wedding, agreed to run off to her honeymoon and proclaimed her love for Ross while already married. Emily is being reasonable here.
I mean, Emily didn't know she did any of those things . Emily's issue was Ross was never over Rachel. So technically Ross is wrong for going after Emily knowing he still was in love with Rachel and even going the distance
Yes but also no, you see emily doesnt know alot about rachel, except for the fact that ross still loved rachel. Asking to remove someone from your life who she doesnt even know that actually was responsible for alot of these things is just wrong. She was not blaming rachel for the reason why ross said her name or other situations. She simply ddint want her in sight of her husband and the thought of them In the same room made her feel sick. In this situation emily wants to remove her from ross because she thinks ross is still In love with rachel not cause of what she did.
I can't pretend that Ross Rachel Relationship wasn't toxic. Ross didn't need Emily nor Rachel. He actually needed a therapy. Those women really did a number on him. First his betraying ex lesbian wife then Rachel's selfishness bullshit. Poor guy!
Oh Ya right....rachel cheated on him with that girl from printout Cafe after they had fight , ya she slept with another women right after 3 hour of their soo called breakup !!! ....omg how stupid one can be
@@pratikshasharma3581 look, it might be a little hard for you to understand this. They had a fight and nearly broke up and of course they we re on a break. He wouldn't have slept with someone else if he knew Rachel was still his girlfriend. Meanwhile it was pretty stupid and selfish on Rachel's part to believe that he cheated on her. Only to blame him for their fallout. Just like when she got pregnant and knew everything and lied to everyone that it was him asking for sex. In my opinion, he didn't need Rachel, he actually needed a therapy.
I understand why Emily doesn't want Ross to see Rachel. But I also don't agree with her forbidding Ross from seeing people. If she can't trust her new husband to not run away with an old ex, she should have gone for an annulment and seen Ross as a lost cause. "So I can keep an eye on you at all times." No one should be feeling like they have to keep a close eye on their spouse to stop them from cheating. But that doesn't mean you double down on your spouse and take control of them. It means you let them go and find someone who treats you the way you deserve to be treated.
Honestly Emily was being reasonable. Asking him not see the woman whose name he said ON HER WEDDING DAY is the least she could’ve asked. Emily was in the right here
@@MrGenexxx The point is that if they could not be trusted, there is no reason to be married to Ross. The only reasonable thing to do (from both of them, Emily and Ross) was to not be married.
If you ask me what Rachel did was far than what Enily tried to do. Rachel tried to tell Ross about her feelings just before he was about to get married. She still wasn't understanding after hearing what Emily wanted to work things out with Ross.
Ross should've worked on himself after his divorce with Carol and not jumping from a marriage to another . What Carol and Susan did to him destroyed his normal natural relationships with future partners. Even his breakup with Rachel was caused by his lack of trust and insecurity. Also the fear that the woman he loves will cheat on him (in that case, with Mark) Emily might've been the victim in the beginning of this situation but she turned into a villain real quick. She should've left him the second he said "Rachel" . Yet she stuck around and kept throwing orders and conditions left and right and ended up leaving anyway . The worst part is that he was left heartbroken yet again with no apartment and a barely stable job . I don't think thats fair. Rachel is straight up terrible in this story.
Emily did what any reasonable person would do. Ross and Rachel's relationship was a mess. Ross should have clearly told Rachel to stop when he decided to go for marriage. He never did. Ross made a mess of his life.
Emily was NEVER a villain . Period. It was Ross who kept pestering her and her family to fix the marriage, she ordered Ross nothing, until he said he would do everything to keep his marriage. She left everything behind to be with Ross and got deceived. Now she demands Ross does the same for her , which is not unreasonable.
Although I think Ross & Rachel were a toxic pair, I don't like the concept of cutting someone off or forbidding someone from seeing a person. It's unfair and extreme. If you have to forbid your partner from seeing someone maybe they shouldn't be your partner in the first place.
Well Emily didn't forbid from start. It was only after marriage later honeymoon fiasco when Ross agreed to go to honeymoon with RACHEL. What person can tolerate that. Moreover Emily did try to give chance to Ross to save marriage. It was Ross fault completely to go for marriage this quick. When he still clearly hadn't moved on from Rachel. Also Rachel was shocked when Ross announced marriage. She never clearly got over. Maybe even considered it long break. Ross should have distanced from Rachel himself or given time for them to move on.
She forbade nothing, until Ross crossed more than one line in quick succession. How would you feel if your spouse insists on seeing his / her ex AFTER going to your honeymoon with that said ex ?
Rachel and Ross worked so hard to get to place where they can get along after their horrible break up . And this episode made all of their effort feel like a waste of time . They not allowed in the same room anyway 😢😢
Emily was right to insist he not see Rachel, and to have him move to London, since they wanted to try to make it work. And in doing so, she made Ross show who he really is and whether he really cared for her (which he didn’t).
