@@nettlecarrier8259just cause it's 100% clean doesn't mean he doesn't have the right to a fight lmao that's why it's in game cause if someone wants to go they should go it was cowards way out not dropping em but I expected nothing less from the Islanders
I agree with the announcer that says he's tired of the fact that every time there's a big hit, guys have to defend themselves. I mean, have hockey players become soccer players these days?
Hockey has become like soccer. Let 'em fight. If you don't wanna fight, don't play like a tough guy. You gotta back it up in a sport like hockey. Romanov is a...fill in the blank.
What? You are making the argument that more fighting would be closer to soccer than less fighting? Your argument is idiotic. I agree with the stance that you shouldn't have to fight for a clean hit. However, if a player is quick to drop the gloves, that does not make it like soccer....
Yep, you can count on romanov to throw at least one big hit each game in which he plays. It's a beautiful thing to see. He used to do this when he played for the habs as well. We miss this guy, Islander fans are lucky to have him.
Burrows is a clown for dropping the gloves here, that was a completely clean hit, there’s no need to instigate a fight. If it was a headshot or something dirty like that than absolutely drop the gloves but this whole dropping the gloves after every big hit is getting ridiculous
Hockey as become soft, back then you just took the hit, remember the guys number to get him on the next shift (or get your enforcer to do the exact same thing)
Romanov was crushed later in the game on a clean hit and Martin tried to fight Jeanott. And Romanov tried to fight also after a clean hit in the same game. 😂😂 The only difference is Laff is a youngster on the Kings and one of the tough guys jobs is to protect the kids like it’s always been in the NHL.
He should be protecting himself first. Fighting an opponent for a guy who got caught with his head down doesn't help "protect" anyone. In fact it likely will only have the opposite effect being that the crumpled guy now believes he wasnt doing anything wrong rather than correcting and keeping his head up next time
@ You protect the kids, that’s literally a tough guys job. This is one of the Kings young prospects and top producers, a player that definitely needs to be protected. He will learn by they hit itself to take better care of himself, but it’s Burroughs job to protect the kids. You don’t like it, get mad at one of the top 3 rules a tough guy goes by.
Everyone that’s mad about guys fighting after big hits have never played a game of organized hockey and don’t understand what can happen if you don’t respond to hits like this
People seem to forget what was going on in America at the time and you’ll realize really quick why he was drafted especially by one of the most Progressive cities in the world.
@@btgkg9639pissed me off when he went 2nd overall. LA just wanted to draft the highest black player in history. It’s sad when fans put in 20 years just for the organization to put progression a priority over winning
Good on Romanov for not dropping the gloves after a clean hit. He knew he didn't do anything wrong there. That's the way you do it!
You must be a big fan of womens hockey I'm guessing?
Then romanov tried to fight after his teammate took a clean hit later in the game 😂😂😂

Romonav is the soccer player lol cmon man wtf hockey is a tough guy sport not for limp wristed announcers

Yeah I’d do anything to give islanders Dach and we get Romanov back
Hate seeing a guy attacked for a clean hit. Good to see L.A. get a penalty on the play.
Силовой классный хит,Емеля делал,как до ветру сходить,внук " растет", Хайдаровичу приятно
Montreal misses you! And the flow
God I miss the romonov express 😂 kid just lays the most satisfying hits
Thank you for posting this
What a beautiful hit on a suicide pass. Great read by Romanov.. tired of guys trying to fight when it's a clean hit
Romonov tried that a couple weeks ago on MacKinnon. It didn’t go so well for him 😂
Ууххх жёсткая красота
What a hit
Agreed, just take the # and wait
Да, это жёстко, но если всё было в рамках правил, то зачем устраивать драку?
Boooooooom!
Comms explains it perfectly.
Глаза прям папины)
charge, jumped into the hit.
Nice pass Burroughs
Как на папу похож)
Can't believe we let him go for kirby dach 💀💀💀
So tired of big clean hits always sparking fights. Grow up boys, fight when things are dirty to protect the players, other than that play some hockey.

Что мне не правится в современной НХЛ, так это то, что после любого чистого хита парни обижаются и лезут в драку.
Буквально то, что комментатор игры и сказал
Jeannot leveled Romanov later on. Post that too.

I would be more mad about the suicide pass from my teammate.
booyah
Это хоккей!
Post the other hit 😂

Keep your head up kiddo 🤦♂️
Love how if it was the other way around the announcers would want a fight
Then we lost 3-1
He scared the Romanov, knew he was going to take a beating from Burroughs 😂😂😂😂
Not as big a beating as that pass had on his teammate... Fcking Fugazis

On a bad hit. That was clean.
Especially a youngster who is leading a top producer on the team.
That was a clean hit
Clean hits should have no retaliation.
Refusing to drop the mitts, ew.
Byfield sucks. 3 goals 29 games played. Pathetic
Really disappointing this season, after his good year I was expecting more
He's terrible, and they keep putting him on the power play.
