The LOX is proof that when you respect one another and don't allow outsiders to influence anything you can really be successful. Can we salute 3 BLACK MEN for staying together all these years without any public fallouts, disagreements, etc. On another note, I LOVE THESE DUDES!
The most powerful words came from Sheek. This is when you know it's all love and real brothers are together. Sheek wanted to do other songs and other freestyles, but he basically said Kiss had the hot hand, keep feeding him the ball until they stop'em! That man won't worried about shining(even though he could have) he just wanted the team to win. So everyone who said it was Kiss versus Dipset,, now we know what really happened, The LOX are just team players...Kiss may have put up 50 points, but they all walked away with the same championship ring!!

Can't wait til' people stop talking about The Lox. They are not Hip Hop royalty, they're just an average group. Most of The Lox fan base is grime NY people, they never went platinum. You don't know Hip Hop, you're just a groupie. Actually, the best trio NY produced was RUN DMC and Hip Hop royalty as far as groups is NWA and Bone, they would destroy The Lox!
@@yo3rdtier128 I see where you coming from…what the LoX in their career is the group albums to match to other groups… (I.e. OutKast, tribe, mobb deep, etc) but they are still one of the top groups for hardcore hip hop out of NYC
It’s crazy how people say jadakiss is underrated. He never was underrated, the brother been saying he’s top 5 dead or alive for the longest. They just wasn’t listening, the lox been delivering since 92🔥🔥🔥
I think this is because the term "underrated" doesn't actually mean anything. It doesn't have a metric, it's just a feeling of someone not supporting something as much as you support it. Someone would have to give something a rating, then you can say that person specific underrated them because of X, Y, and Z. Not some hyperbolic general statement.
He said "rappers spit rhymes that are mostly illegal, mc's spit rhymes to uplift their people" and that is def NOT the difference between The Lox and Dipset.
Thats why I'm glad they exposed that to the youth of this generation on that stage to see. There's always been a thing between what's a rapper and what's an MC. There's something magical about an MC when they get anywhere on a stage. They keep the crowd strong in a trance hanging on their every word Acapella or not
The Lox? Making a positive impact?? Wooow smh unbelievable 🤦...I mean, I know you said this for likes, but at the sametime you might be serious. & if so, plz get to know Christ asap smh sheesh
Damn my heart is full and mind is shook. I’ve been waiting for my boys the LOX to get shown this love and recognition for years . I’ve been a fan since day 1 . I’m 51 years old and make it my business to teach my kids who are grown now what true hip hop is and they respect ✊🏾 it. Shout out to the Breakfast Club for showing them love ❤️
Dope how they gave diddy his props about teaching them showmanship. If one artist is on the left, then someone else should be on the right and in the middle. Spread and control the stage
The unity between these three grown men is so peaceful, they have been holding it up as a group for more than 2 decades and you can barely see that in this generation. G-Unit attempted but fell apart, Migos are already falling apart, MMG ( Rick Ross, Meek, and Wale) have fallen apart and the list goes. These guys deserve their flowers. The understanding and love they have for each other are unmatched!
These three men have great respect for each other. The way Ghost and Louch we're able to set their ego aside for the benefit of the performance. Very impressive. True chemistry can't be faked. Well deserved.
The LOX has literally provided a Blueprint & structure for many young and old groups and crews the keys for longevity and success through hip hop and entertainment. 25+ years
This is a rare bond beyond music, I've seen so called blood brothers not speak for years. This is something special that rarely happens, especially with the level of success they've seen. We all could only hope of bonds as tight as these 3. Dipset bond is nothing like this and it showed! Salute from a day one fan!
The difference(s) between the LOX and Dipset was evident. The LOX came prepared and moved like a unit. Dipset didn’t appear unified and moved like individual acts showing up to a live show just to comply with a contractual agreement. I still enjoyed the show though.
Their second 2 minutes of fame is almost up. They have to the end of month. People will stop talking about The Lox, trust me! I cant wait, tried of hearing it!

I really appreciate and commend the LOX because of their brotherhood and chemistry. It is rare that you see any group that's in the public eye have no beef, breakups, or issues in public. They are literally an ideal group to look up to and aspire to be. No foolish pride or ego, just love. They are extremely important simply for being great examples, especially upon black men.
@@jdubb4589 Honestly alot of groups in general need to take notes. The ego is our biggest enemy and we need to learn how to put that foolishness to the side and work together for bigger goals. We need that in our communities period.

I think that it's really amazing that this is the only rap group in history that hasn't been in any beefs amongst each other, hasn't broken up even during solo albums and has maintained a brotherhood. It's great when you're unselfish enough to play your role and let someone else shine. Makes me feel proud being a Lox fan after all these decades
Exactly. I've always said this about them. The most relevant part was both Sheek and Styles saying that Jada was the hot hand and let him rip shit. When he wins they ALL win. No jealousy, no petty social media beefs, just real brothers. That's why they are the streets.

Biggest takeaway from that Verzuz is the Lox are family. Dipset are coworkers. 2nd biggest takeaway is Dipset's moment was bigger, but the Lox's music is more timeless‼️‼️
Love my generation!!! We grew in ways no one, even ourselves, ever imagined. Those who stayed away from the self destructive habits and we're allowed to live long enough to evolve have really blessed this culture!
The LOX move through hip hop exactly the way an elite band moves through rock or heavy metal. They stay rehearsed, on point as a unit, always technically precise, pay attention to the audio mixing, and treat this shit like a true professional. You'll never see these dudes show up and half ass it. This a job to them and they stay prepared.

Cherish these dudes man, the best trio NY ever produced! Been rocking with these dudes since the 90's , hip hop royalty! That Verzuz was performance perfection! With Kiss playing Tom Brady calling the signals, Styles catching them deep balls, and Sheek blocking and clearing out the middle. I still got that Verzuz on repeat, one of the most amazing things I've ever seen in hip hop and I'm in my 40's! Salute to da gods!
Nicely put bro
We are all in our 40’s ❤️
@@yo3rdtier128 NWA?? Bone?? NAAWWW!!
It’s crazy how people say jadakiss is underrated. He never was underrated, the brother been saying he’s top 5 dead or alive for the longest. They just wasn’t listening, the lox been delivering since 92🔥🔥🔥
And remember, he couldn't have jumped on joints with BIG at that young age if he wasn't NICE!
well ppl werent listening that would make him underrated lol... they listening now
Never heard he was underrated
Him saying he's top 5 doesn't not make him underrated wtf .. the ppl make him him underrated .. him saying he top 5 doesn't undo that .. like huh
As a dude that grew up in the 90s and is from NYC, this interview had me smiling from ear to ear.
The Dipset Vs The Lox Versus was a textbook Definition of what KRS-ONE says” What is the difference between a Rapper and a MC?”
m.th-cam.com/video/StxnDWNlxhU/w-d-xo.html 🔥
He said "rappers spit rhymes that are mostly illegal, mc's spit rhymes to uplift their people" and that is def NOT the difference between The Lox and Dipset.
Exactly.
@@lifedesiigner lol I thought I was missing something lol maybe there's an interview we missing 🤣
Thats why I'm glad they exposed that to the youth of this generation on that stage to see. There's always been a thing between what's a rapper and what's an MC. There's something magical about an MC when they get anywhere on a stage. They keep the crowd strong in a trance hanging on their every word Acapella or not
The fact that they care about the community is all that matters to me. Making a positive impact.. facts over feelings

These dudes are living legends. The love kiss Sheek and the ghost have for each other is unmatched. They are brothers before they are artist
Heck yeah...😎👍
The LOX has literally provided a Blueprint & structure for many young and old groups and crews the keys for longevity and success through hip hop and entertainment. 25+ years
Even in the this interview, these guys showed that they’re brother’s before the music, and that chemistry carries them well, salute!!!!

So true great analysis

I really appreciate and commend the LOX because of their brotherhood and chemistry. It is rare that you see any group that's in the public eye have no beef, breakups, or issues in public. They are literally an ideal group to look up to and aspire to be. No foolish pride or ego, just love. They are extremely important simply for being great examples, especially upon black men.
