  • Killapede is a Millipede clone for the BBC Microcomputer. It was written by Philip Blenkinsopp and released by Players in 1986. It was also released on a few other formats such as the Amstrad CPC and Commodore C16 / Plus 4.
It may just be a Millipede clone, but it does its job very well. As well as the Millipede on the attack, there are also the fleas and the spider. A ladybug (though apparently this is an ant) also appears and leaves indestructible flowers on the battlefield. The screen does scroll down with each level, so these will eventually disappear off the bottom edge. There is also some sort of worm or snake - not sure what this does.
Nothing new here, but a nice version of a classic.
This run was made on the 27th May 2024 using the Pantheon emulator on PC. The score reached was 6,236 points.
