Charity is not a solution to Poverty: it is an aggravation of the difficulty. The proper aim is to try and reconstruct society on such a basis that poverty will be impossible"

I had the biggest crush on Dr. Moyo for a long time, even though she's 20+ years older than me. I was pretty sad when she got married, haha. Ridiculous fantasies aside though, I did learn a lot following Dr. Moyo's work over the years, and I plan to keep doing so going forward.

I support sending no aid to Africa. Why should any other country help Africa? It makes no sense. Let them fend for themselves.

      Africa fuels the world’s economies.

@@Speedy300 Well then they can help themselves even more.

@@sj4632 It is possible especially if they get rid off corruption. Most of these countries are not poor but the people are because of mismanagement of funds, bad trade deals, not trading with their neighbors and not taxing big corporations.

@@Speedy300 I agree with that. The people supposedly "helping" and giving aid to Africa are only enslaving them more. They need to fend for themselves and stop asking for help, because that help comes with strings attached.

I don't understand why she has not invested her thoughts and approach to solving economic issues to her country of origin "Zambia".

Great POV. However, she doesn't have the mindset of a Zambian. Just thinking out loud.

Most of the time, people like her are stopped from applying they ideas in their own countries simply because, the rulers of African countries are corrupted by the enemies of Africa' s success. Without the president's agreement, one cannot apply her or his ideas or set up any business.

She tried to put of Zambian help but government has threatened her on number of times. She warned the sata government about heavy China loans ba sampa balwya slammed her and acted funny.

I guess she's doing so by raising awareness of how bad aid is from her book

She's doing what people have to do sometimes, telling the raw naked truth about what works and what doesn't.
