The fact that you're "no pro" at this game just makes watching this more interesting than a really skilled playthrough. I'm not a pro at this game either. :)
The reason Ken goes into this tourney is from a challenge sent to him by Ryu. However, unlike the series hero, Ken has something that doesn't make him feel right about a rematch....A NORMAL LIFE. However, his expecting wife tells him to go anyway, supporting him all the way. Maybe its just me, by I think you're a BIT more at home with Ken than with Ryu.
@StreetFighter300100 Yeah, but the kanji originally used for the name of Ken is the same as the kanji at the end of Hadoken or Shoryuken. The one meaning "fist". Capcom gave it up due to Ken being American, so people could contradict me and think they're right.
Anybody notice that 2 out of 3 original Ken and Ryu moves end with ken? Hadou"ken" and Shoryu"ken". Ryu is in sho"ryu"ken aswell, but more ken than ryu. I thought Ryu was the main character?

According to what most people say. Ryu is stronger and deals more damage, but Ken is faster and more efficient for pulling off combos.
