IQ D-Rig Tutorial

My first rig tutorial for one of my favourite rigs at the moment. A rig I am confident in using at a variety of venues over a multitude of lake beds.
Getting its name from Korda's IQ fluorocarbon which is used to create the rig's hook length, the IQ D-Rig offers fantastic hook holds due to the separation and movement between the bait and hook created with the D-shaped loop on the shank of the chosen hook.
The stiffer IQ offer great anti tangle capabilities and allows the rig to be longer, yet still offering instant engagement when the bait is first taken.
Slow-sinking baits, wafter style, along with the stiff hook link, allow the rig to be push away from the lead as the bait helps to hide the hook by sitting just above it.
This rig has caught countless fish for me over the past few years including a 6-fish catch on a hard clay bottom from the notoriously challenging Furzebray Island Lake (video on my channel) as well as a 24-fish catch over a gravel bottom with small amounts of weed at Linear Fishery's Brasenose 2 (video on my channel).
