I had to go without a couch for a couple of months and I can testify that I was lazy before and remained lazy when the couch was gone. I just had to find other surfaces to lie down onto, including floor, 2 chairs put together, ottoman, etc.
@@BrokenFootRailfan hehe, not even lying! I had to work a few nights for a deadline and didn't want to disturb my partner while to take naps in bed, so I resorted to whatever was available 😅
My cat makes me tuck her in. Like, if I have gone to bed or am doing something else past 10pm, she meows and meows until I come rub her belly for a bit and then she jumps into her cat bed and goes to sleep. 😅
Also, that woman 100% had to sell her furniture for food or rent money, then made up some stupid reason as to why she didn’t want a couch in the first place! (Those poor boys. 😔)
Totally, that’s a thing that you see them talk about in their zoom meetings “What can you sell?” As if going into hock in order to stay in/join a “business” where you’re not payed for your work is a good idea or a sign that your life is improving 😫
From being in MLMs, I think another likely explanation is selling couches and places where you are "lazy" is another way to prove how much you want it. It's always about how hard you can grind and that the income is limitless, you just have to want it BAD enough to run after it. The MLM mindset is that the only person standing in the way of your generational wealth and hopes and dreams is YOU. "The people at the bottom don't do the hard stuff, they don't grind, they don't sell their couches, they want to keep being lazy and that's why they're not at the top!" It's disgusting.
TH-cam has previously claimed that the accidental unsubbing has to do with youtube trying to remove subscribers which are bots. But I think that kind of explanation is kind of sketch since it happens so often to actual viewers
No, youtube spesifically claimed that this happens and that they have no tool that can unsubscribe viewers. What you describe was the most plausible theory.
I have a Facebook friend who just responds to everything she sees there, and she has been banned several times because the bots think she's a bot. It's both hilarious and deeply dystopian.
I had a Kirby sales person escorted from my home by military base police for exactly what was described. They became intrusive and belligerent. I tried to be polite. I was done.

I love to see Zeke. He's a beautiful cat. My kitty crossed the rainbow bridge a few weeks ago, so I am missing her. (She was 18, so not surprising). Seeing Zeke just makes me smile. I'm glad you let him jump and show us his beauty!
Please don't think I'm insensitive, but I work at an animal shelter and this is the time of the year that we are just flooded with cats. All cats come into heat when it warms up and you can imagine how many kittens are suddenly born. If you are ready to get another one, this is the time! Just my small shelter has every color kitten that you could want. You would not be replacing your other cat; you would be giving a new life to a kitten that could possibly be spending a very long time at a shelter if it doesn't get adopted while it's young.
OMG 😭😭 I thought that was our barn cat meowing for food outside so I went out to feed him 😂😂 then realized what you were saying about your cat meowing 😅😅
Whenever I hear Kirby stories I kind of wish there would be a window cleaning MLM. I would happily take the demonstration and then not buy. But yes, I would give them a good tip. Probably more than they make for a sale.
My friend just told me that you can hire people to do that. Like they come in, wash the windows, and leave. I'm amazed by that but since I'm old and have a bum shoulder, I think that sounds amazing. My windows are atrocious but that's something I just can't tackle.
@@cherylanne6549yes! Having had an office on the street at one point, we had people who came by to clean the windows and it was super reasonable and they did a great job.
Of all the MLM horror stories in this video, the third one makes me the angriest. I grew up poor and, even though I did go to college and grad school (twice!), I’m still poor. It happens. I have autism, ADHD, chronic pain, and a whole lot of job and job-search-related anxiety. Ugh!
I have ADHD, ASD, and severe anxiety and depression. The only reason I’m able to be doing my A Levels right now is because my parents could afford private assessments and tutors. Otherwise I wouldn’t be able to get an education beyond GCSEs regardless of the work I put in or how smart I am.
@@zephie531 Are you planning on going to Uni or no? I don’t know if it is the same in the UK (I’m in the US) but most universities have a disability services office. The folks there can help you find a tutor, how to use technology to help (if you do better with recorded lectures rather than taking notes), extra time and/or a quiet place to take exams, etc. There are affordable resources (because the majority of students don’t have much money). There are ways to get things done!
@@mxnjones Yes, hopefully to study maths in London! We have the DSA here which is an offshoot of student finance where they assess what support you would benefit from and pay for it which is nice. It includes things to record lectures, extra resources, and talking to your tutors and lecturers if you need anything specific from them. I don’t know how American university works but the Uni I want to go to assigns each student a personal tutor who they can go to about any problems as well as the well-being staff like counsellors. Also my first choice university is well known for being one of the best for neurodivergent students with support and such. Being disabled comes with a lot of admin I’m learning. Both of my dyslexia diagnoses are no longer valid due to a weird admin change too which is brilliant. So I’m having a bit of a time but it should all work out if I can get the grades!
Yeah that was a pretty heartless story… the only reason I am not poor is because my partner makes good money… I have Crohn’s disease and can’t work full time because of it. There’s no way I could afford to live on my own. People need to stop judging others or deeming them “lazy” because you don’t know their circumstances
Unrelated to the video, but I have some unsolicited cat advice! My cat also freaked out when I transitioned to teaching from home. I found getting her a bed for my office, and encouraging her on the bed with treats. Little by little she’d bother me less, and go to sleep in her bed. I think she just likes having her own space. I also use the time as “her time” so she doesn’t want to go in and out, now she knows the exact time my class starts, and she waits for me to start petting her.
@saltydystopianwriter3832 ma’am??? First, this comment was 10 months ago 🥴 second, you can love animals, and still be bothered by them sitting on your laptop and ending your lecture for the entire class 😊🤝 I hope you have the day you deserve. ✨
I was literally watching this video today when a Kirby rep knocked on my door asking to come in and do a free cleaning to demo the product. Not even joking, I literally paused the video to answer the door. Shut the door on him so fast, my wife thought something was wrong. Thank you so much for your videos. Saved me several hours of some random dude "cleaning" my house, and a potential scam.
For the pure romance story, I’m thinking the morning/middle of a weekday time slot might be because it’s an area with a lot of stay at home moms? Since they’re not bound by a typical work schedule it’s more likely they’ll actually have even MORE free time while their kids are at school (vs after they get home and chores like making dinner, helping with homework, etc need to be done) with the added bonus that they can attend an adult event without needing to send the kids to a babysitter (or dodge questions regarding where they’re going).
OMG, the Kirby song! Years ago one of my roommates got a "job" selling Kirby. He only lasted about a week. He said that every day they'd start out singing the Kirby song before they'd go off to "sell" them. He'd pound sand, get doors slammed in his face, and then he'd come home and tell funny stories about his day and end it with singing the song! Fun times. This story had a good ending - he had recently returned from serving in Vietnam (so yeah, a long time ago) and he was able to use his GI Bill to finish college and he eventually became an MD. (He passed away a few years ago, but I still think fondly of Dr. John and his Kirby performances . RIP, dude.)
You just know she’s going to claim, “I’m doing it for my children!” when the only thing she’s doing for her children is causing them to be made fun at school for having a crazy mother and no furniture. She’s probably also packing them candy bar lunches (lunches that are literally just a candy bar because that’s all you can afford) and passing it off as being “the fun mom”.
Zeke meowing scared me at first because I thought my cat Lucifer was meowing wrong since my cat meowing sounds so different. I literally started searching for my Lucifer thinking he was in trouble because it took a second to realise it wasn't Lucifer at all. Lol
My husband and his cousin lived together in college, and got got by a Kirby rep. They went door to door for a single day and quit. He also got pitched by someone for an “opportunity” and went to a meeting held in a hotel conference room. He doesn’t remember what the company was, but based on the description I suspect Amway. After this meeting, he described it to his parents who told him “that’s a pyramid scheme!” Bless his young, too nice for his own good heart.
I was watching this on my laptop while I did laundry and when Zeke started meowing my dog lost his ever-loving mind and is now looking everywhere for the cat that is CLEARLY here and meowing. xD
LOL, I'm watching as you're celebrating 86k subscribers and now you're over half a million! So happy for your success in getting the news of this toxic business structure out to so many people. And don't feel bad about the subscribe reminder. I watched several of your videos before remembering to hit that button and the bell.
Im an oncology RN and work in an outpatient infusion center. I cannot tell you how many times a day i get calls from patients asking me to check if some kind of BS supplement, vitamin or ‘natural’ remedy can be taken with their chemo regimen. I always tell them the same thing-they are not regulated by the FDA and dont have any clinical trial data proving they help at all. I sometimes want to tell them what you just did, ‘dont you think we would be prescribing it if it worked?’ I really hate these companies that sell false hope and steal their money!! Thank you!❤
My parents did Amway back in the 1970s. Their up lines once babysat my older brother and I. I believe the uplines were at diamond rank, because, being 2 or 3, I thought the rank was dime, and when they told me my parents were out working their business, I told them, “Yes, they’re going to be nickles.” Because, clearly, that would be one rank below a dime.
I'm a boomer with millennial children, so I absolutely knew why the vacuum in Brave Little Toaster was named Kirby!! Love it, and it was one of my kids' faves when they were growing up.
Omg I didn't realize Kirby was an MLM until this video! Kirby got a hold of me somehow years ago and made it seem like they just wanted to show me their product and give me a free carpet clean. I was quite young and still didn't know how to say no, and after a 3 hour demonstration the pressure to buy a vacuum was HUGE! I caved and bought one even though I didn't have the money, and I felt bad about it for years. My family and friends harped on me for my non- existent backbone, and I learned an important lesson. Now finally after 19 years I don't feel so bad about it anymore. Still works like a dream and I have only had to replace the belt a couple times and one time I broke the fan because I sucked up a penny. However it does still weigh a ton. Makes so much sense that it was an MLM company now that I think back on it. Crazy!
I nearly got roped into Amway twice. Once with my ex who pulled me into it cause he wanted to make money and another time with an almost friend. I was always so uncomfortable with her that I stopped talking to her. Then I found out later she went back to working a regular job.
As someone with fibromyalgia, I relate all too well to the last story. The amount of quackery I see online claiming they can 'fix it' make me so angry. Remember there's nothing wrong with using mobility aids whether you 'look disabled' or not ❤
Regarding the Amway twin, Hannah, as my parents and I used to say to each other whenever we tried to make sense of something my ex-husband did, there you go bringing logic into it.
I know of a large family with 12 sisters and some of them sell Arbonne. Thankfully not all of them do. But maybe Arbonne pushes family business? I think it’s strange.
i have an aunt thats really high in the company and they’re definitely pushed to recruit family more than other mlms, they consistently (whereas other mlms tend to talk about it mostly in the first few months) talk about it as a way to build family bonds and strengthen their downlines
The fact that the LW from the Kirby story sold 4 Kirbies... but was not PAID?? is actually insane. It takes the scam that is MLM even further. It conns even harder! She was literally denied her legally owed compensation for these sales. Just wow.
You're hearing ONE side of the story. I worked for Kirby years ago. While it wasn't the career path I chose, I got paid for every valid sale. Maybe every one of this person's sales was either not able to qualify for financing or they cancelled the sale within the 3 day remorse period. Direct sales is not for everybody. Some people are good at it & some people couldn't sell ice water in Hades
The person who wrote the last story- thank you! I was recently diagnosed with RA. I am 41 and it has made my life crippling. I seriously have been pushing though to just pretend I am not sick... my husband is pretty amazing and walks me through each step. When I couldn't walk- he helped me with a cane. Thank you for sharing your story! It makes me feel a little less alone.
"Zeke, did you know you have an online fan club?" Zeke: silence (meaning, "of course I know I have online fans, I am Zeke and therefore to be adored.")
Story 3: This one hits really close to home. Because of the coaching I received in Amway, I almost ended the relationship with my siblings. They taught at meetings that friends and family unwilling to buy products don't really love / support me. After I escaped the business we had a conversation and they decided not to buy from me because they didn't want to feed false hope for me. Thankful we have a great relationship now but it's only because I got out.
I will also add she told our mother that she thinks she doesn't love her and won't support her because my mom bought an air purifier online instead of through her Amway store 🤷🏻♀️ basically implying that their relationship is entirely transactional
Story 2 sounded like an amazing person, and sales rep, and just human in general with a great head on her shoulders. I had a really similar situation working for a mom and pop IT startup in college for a grand total of a month before I quit too- same “here’s $200 kid” thing at the end of my 3rd week which is what got me to quit. The whole story is almost exactly like the Kirby one.
I used to have 2 Maine Coon cats and they were named Gizmo and Gremlin, I named him Gremlin bc when I first saw him at the adoption event he was practically hanging upside down from the cage he was in, little brother Gizmo was trying to figure out how to follow him. They were the best boys.
Yeah, I opened the door once to a pair of JWs. They asked if I had a Bible handy, and I went to look for one. All I could find was a copy of the Book of Mormon that my mother's friend gave her. I brought it to them and asked if that would do. They looked horrified and said "Oh no, they're a cult!" lolololol! That taught me not to open the door!
@@melissashiels7838 that’s a brilliant hack to get black listed for the local temples. I’m going to keep that in my back pocket. I already have my house safely blacklisted for the local Later Day Saints/Mormons. This will help if the JWs start canvassing our neighborhood next.
@loosilu 🎯🎯🎯 I can't understand why anyone would feel obligated to open the door of *their own home* to a stranger they're not expecting. It's just weird. Especially these days. Can anyone think there are *fewer* psychos running around than in the '70s, '80s, and '90s when we were young? 😂
That last story really hit close to home for me. My husband has had chronic pain from an injury that no one can seem to help. It’s weirdly similar to another chronic pain issue he has had. We are now starting to accept that this may be our forever reality since both pains are in similar regions. This is extremely impactful in every day life for us and my husband has even had to give up guitar which is something he loves never mind not being able to do things that normal everyday people should be able to do as well as the looks and comments from those that cannot see the injury and thus believe it does not exist. I know from experience the heart crushing feeling when you finally have hope only for it to be dashed once again. How awful to take advantage on someone so vulnerable for a sleazy business opportunity.
Just FYI, I heard a lot of thefts are happening If you don’t answer because they think no one is home. Best to reply on the cam that you re busy/ not interested
20:54 my recommendation is to let them in. The Kirby is amazing. No other vac works. And rainbow/thermax/electrolux/filter queen etc etc are designed just like a hoover/eureka etc. Its funny, notice she kept saying how good the kirby is.
Twilight movie should be voiced over as an MLM family story. Family claiming to be immortal and to have super speed and power while refusing normal food and surviving on pink drink :D And Edward resisting the urge to pitch Bella
This is hilarious since the whole family did try to convince her to join Vampire MLM (UNLIKE other vampire mlms we are vegetarian which makes us different!!!) while Edward was soooo against it 🤣🤣
Of course Zeke had nothing to say to his fans. We’re here to faun over him, not the other way around. He knows he’s fabulous, and nothing more needs to be said.
I think another important component of the fiery story is the rep saying they were specifically looking for new high school graduates. They can’t find anyone else so they target literal teenagers.
Growing up a sales rep for Kirby came to our home on a weekday... The poor girl spent at least half a day at our house. It was late when she finished her demo. I remember my dad going to get a family-size chicken dinner from our local fried chicken restaurant and she ate with us. Hearing these stories she probably really appreciated that meal. We did buy the vacuum. Honestly, it's one of the best vacuums in my opinion. I would suggest going to a pawn shop though to get one. They always have a few.
I remember going to ONE "training day" and then being shipped off in a minivan houurrrssss away from where we started, to go door knocking... As a 18 year old I started to genuinely think I'd been abducted and quit so quick once we got back 😅
@@eddielath9333 Yep, the kidnapping in the van for a whole day is what made me quit as well. (I didn't count the training as work because I wasn't paid for it.) Hannah read my story about it in Horror Stories #14.
It was Zeke! I literally paused the video started calling my cat to see what was bothering her or what she wanted, I took the cat treats out and everything and went to look for her because she wasn't coming, only to find her asleep downstairs in the cat tree. As soon as I came back thinking "must have been outside", I unpaused the video for you to say it was Zeke. lol
I’m so happy you’re back! Congratulations on baby girl! I never did say that vector sent my 18 year old daughter a letter and she told me she wants to do it. I was able to intelligently tell her why she does not! Actually I just sent her some videos! Thank you so much for what you do we are all so much smarter now.
As somebody with a chronic condition (actually related to fibromyalgia! I have me/cfs!) I had my head. In. My. Hands. Listening to that story. It’s so hard to talk to abled people about chronic disability AT ALL, especially when you’re young. Diseases like that are so extremely isolating, and it really can make you feel alone. As someone who’s worked with a patient advocacy org, it makes me FURIOUS to hear someone using that moment of solidarity to sell something. Your channel has actually inspired me to do research into mlms that target disabled folks- especially those with chronic illnesses/ones that don’t have a lot of support, so I can better warn my community about them. Im so proud of the person in that story. I don’t have the energy to put it into words, but thank you, I love you, and I’m proud of you. Pointing my cane in your general direction in solidarity.
This Kirby rep did this exact thing!!! And he would not take no for an answer. Not only did my husband have to threaten to call the authorities, my then 1.5year old would not stop screaming at this man. It was such a nightmare and so invasive. I have no idea how we even let him get to our mattress. Such an awful experience.
Oh wow, I sent in my story (#5) fairly recently so I'm surprised that you got to sharing it so quickly! I'm glad I got an opportunity to share it, thank you so much for using your platform to share stories like mine. Much love to you and everyone here ☺
God did I write story 5 in my sleep? Fibro, diagnosed at 15, in denial about it being forever. I'm so saddened to know there are other people going through this. I hope life is going well for OP, and for Hannah and the kitties ❤
Ugghh. Kirby. As a kid, I remember my mom agreeing to the "I'll clean one room for free" speel. The Kirby rep cleaned the one room. But then spent what felt like 1-2hrs trying to convince my mom of how she could afford the vacuum by dipping into her weekly grocery budget etc. She put her foot down & said she doesn't make major purchases without discussing it with my dad who was at work. And that rep left our house not selling a vacuum
I have fibromyalgia, so story 5 resonated with me, I have spent lots of money trying loads of things to either help or distract but I can also understand someone's desperation to try absolutely anything to help. You get this desperate notion of finding ways to have this one day of having no pain. So I get how someone can get caught up with this. I have found that foot massages are a good way for me to get a relief. All the best with motherhood and I am glad the lady in story 5 is doing well.
This Amway story reminds me so much of "On Becoming a God in Central Florida". If you haven't seen it yet, you might enjoy it. Thanks for your excellent content!
Omg I was so convinced the meowing was coming from my house I immediately paused the video and went on a hunt… found nothing so I came back to keep watching and then you apologized for Zeke and I was like 🤦🏻♀️🤣🤣🤦🏻♀️.
OMG I remember when I was 19, I applied for Kirby through a Craig's List ad. I didn't know it was Kirby and they advertised the position as an office admin. Instead I was taken to a vacuum selling training 40 miles away from where I lived, along with 3 other suckers and 2 managers. After that, I ghosted them and they went as far as coming to my house to look for me. WTF!!! The golks who ended up staying quit within 2 weeks and one of them was really upset because he never got paid even though he was promised a steady check. Their excuse was his contract was a 1099 so he's actually not entitled to wages because he's a contractor. He was around the same age as me. Hopefully that branch got shut down so they don't take advantage of people anymore.
Someone else mentioned it but the sister is struggling for money it’s not working if she was at the top why 2 years. She needs cheaper food for the trip. The lack of furniture probably sold
My husband worked with Kirby during the 2008 recession. Neither one of us knew it was an MLM until I started watching your channel about 3 months ago. And both of us have always been anti-MLM. He stayed for about 3 months and actually brought home decent money. He only left because he found a job that aligned better with his career. Looking back the only red flag we can remember is the “office” was only a room with foldable tables. My mom bought a Kirby while he was there and we still borrow it to shampoo the carpet every 6 months.
I'm one of those people that seriously thought I was subscribed🙃 I love your channel so much and how you present things, I never thought I'd enjoy anti-MLM content so much. I can spend hours listening to you talk about absolutely anything, so if you branch out to new topics I'll definitely be here 💖💖
Amway in particular likes to push “delayed gratification” as if it is a virtue, like you are being responsible and will be rewarded in the end above the naysayers. In reality you miss out. You miss out on events, kids milestones, etc. in pursuit of an unattainable dream.
I worked door to door selling overpriced vacuum cleaners (I was young and the ad in the paper sounded amazing). It was cult like. I sold picture packages for Olan Mills and made bank so I knew I could sell ice cream to polar bears😅😅😅😅 I attended daily meetings and had 2 or 3 leads but they actually were depending on us to sell to family and friends. I lost money in fuel and spent every day in a class 20 miles away. I ended up earning $20 and I was broke and beaten down. At 64 years old, 40 years later, I talk to everyone who comes door to door because I feel sorry for them.
I used to watch a lot of anti mlm comment but stopped a couple years ago bc it seemed like the community was becoming very catty and mean just like the mlm communities we are apparently against. But anyway thank you so much for being an informative but respectful anti-mim page! It’s so refreshing to get to watch horror stories again without the petty vibes that some other big anti mlm pages give off.
I love Zeke so much. He reminds me of my cat in appearance, but my boyfriend’s cat who recently passed away in talkativeness. What a funny and handsome fellow! ❤️
I love your anti mlm content and thats what drew me to you in the first place but i also really enjoyed that tiktok trend video made. All this to say dont be afraid to branch out.
my family (when i lived with my parents and was like 14) had a kirby rep come in to clean our living room once my mom told the guy before he even came in that she would absolutely NOT be buying anything and he asked if he could do the demonstration anyway i always thought it was because he wanted to really try to convince her or something, but now after hearing this video i think it must have just been an appointment to check off it was so weird because his "boss" was in a car outside on the street, parked near our driveway.... a dark car, and it was dark out because it must have been fall and the sun set decently early - just felt creepy he stayed for like TWO HOURS and my mom held firm, she even showed him that she already had two vacuums (and she uses them at least a few days a week, sometimes daily, because she likes to be extra clean, so his demonstration, before adding dirt or whatever, was cleaning carpet that would've been maybe one day of dirt at most, and we're a shoes off in the house kind of family so it was basically nonexistant lol) its interesting that he probably WAS just getting the practice and checking off an attempt rather than really trying to get her to buy it - she was SO up front about it. he did still try, but he wasn't really like.. actually trying? just like he was reading his script by memory rather than actually talking about it, if that makes sense at one point she did have me go upstairs to get my dad (he knew the guy was there, and he had his office door open to listen on what was happening but he had to work), because she wanted him to leave and one of her excuses was "ill have to talk to my husband" and he didn't really listen to that much, and my dad came downstairs and just went "no" and opened the front door and the guy finally left the rep must have been like 19-21 and my mom was trying to be nice and help him out because "his boss was there and checking his performance and he didnt want to get fired" or something ? it was really weird and confusing to me as a kid but now it seems to make more sense
I sold them years ago. We NEVER added dirt. Most vacuums simply don't get the dirt out from under the carpet like a Kirby will. We would LITERALLY vacuum a spot 100 times with their vacuum & then pull dirt from the same spot with the Kirby. The young salesman most definitely wasn't "just practicing." He was trying to sell your mom the Kirby but not using high pressure tactics
Open my door for a stranger with a cargo van idling in front of my house? No, thank you. You can wheel your vacuum right back to the van and hope the person in the next house doesn’t watch too many crime shows. I know a ruse when I see one. 😂
You were so excited and in shock just a year ago that you were close to 100k subscribers and look at you now! Almost 500k! So happy for you. Love your content and your great personality. Wishing you continued success and happiness! ❤❤
Fun fact: Dog the Bounty Hunter was a Kirby salesman for some time, and was enormously successful at it-iirc he was the most successful salesman in the company (at least at that time). He wrote fondly of it in his autobiography a while back (good book actually; I grabbed it from a bargain bin for fun and it ended up being better than I thought).

I immediately thought the same when she said her sister didn't have a couch.
Probably.
I hope someone can take those boys or help them out....they're in such a bad spot
There used to be an explanation in the HC that this is just a display issue caused when you sub to >1k channels
Nah, this sounds pretty plausible. Bots obviously don't talk about being unsubscribed, but I bet a ton of them are
I had a Kirby sales person escorted from my home by military base police for exactly what was described. They became intrusive and belligerent. I tried to be polite. I was done.
I have the best mental image of this jerk being fast marched off base with everyone laughing!
PLEASE send in the full story for hannah to share!! this sounds wild, but i’m so sorry that happened to you.

Zeke is in full blown Mr Dramatic mode is absolutely precious. Don’t apologize for the cats.
The irony of the sister bragging about being above the income disclosure statistics while selling her furniture and borrowing her sisters Costco card because she’s struggling and financially needs the discount
Came for the anti-mlm content, stayed for Zeke and Cooper ❤️
I love to see Zeke. He's a beautiful cat. My kitty crossed the rainbow bridge a few weeks ago, so I am missing her. (She was 18, so not surprising). Seeing Zeke just makes me smile. I'm glad you let him jump and show us his beauty!
I'm sorry for your loss 😔 it's horrible to lose a pet. My cat is only a year old, but I'm terrified of losing him
😔 I'm so sorry to hear about your sweet kitty. It's heartbreaking that our pets can't live forever. Sending you all the love
I’m so very sorry for your loss🙏❤️
So sorry for the loss of your kitty 😿
😂 I’m so glad I wasn’t alone in thinking the kitty was an in person meowing experience 😂
I feed him right out my workshop door so I was working and thought he was hungry. Nope. No cat and a full bowl.😅
Whenever I hear Kirby stories I kind of wish there would be a window cleaning MLM. I would happily take the demonstration and then not buy. But yes, I would give them a good tip. Probably more than they make for a sale.
😂
I literally just cleaned all my windows so I agree 😅
My friend just told me that you can hire people to do that. Like they come in, wash the windows, and leave. I'm amazed by that but since I'm old and have a bum shoulder, I think that sounds amazing. My windows are atrocious but that's something I just can't tackle.
@@cherylanne6549yes! Having had an office on the street at one point, we had people who came by to clean the windows and it was super reasonable and they did a great job.
@cherylanne6549 But then you wouldn't get a 3 hour cleaning demonstration for freeee
I'm begging Hannah to put a cat tree in the background so we can see the kitties 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
RIP, dude.)
I feel so bad for the kids of the woman that thinks having furniture will ruin your business
Honestly, I don't know if she's brainwashed or just a narcissist at this point. Either way, those kids would do so much better out of that home.
She definitely just had to sell it all to pay her bills because her MLM isn't actually making money.
Zeke meowing scared me at first because I thought my cat Lucifer was meowing wrong since my cat meowing sounds so different. I literally started searching for my Lucifer thinking he was in trouble because it took a second to realise it wasn't Lucifer at all. Lol
I've thought the meowing on her videos was my human baby several times lol
My cat meows like a Siamese cat. At least, Zeke’s meow is cute.
I love that your cat is named Lucifer! 💜
I had a cat named 😈 deviation, I loved that cat and he truley earned his name!
This happens to me every time I watch Hannah. You think I'd learn, but nooo!
My brother got involved with Amway many years ago. He became delusional and had a nervous breakdown. It's absolutely a cult😕
Stories like the third one really illustrate why people call MLM's commercial cults.
Wait- is this why the pink character that vaccumes everything up is named Kirby too?
@@Tree-House69 I googled that one, evidently that is one theory but not the only one.
4:03 * muffled mrrrreow *
me, unbothered, painting my nails: What's up, Zeke?
We all love Zeke.
When are we gonna get the horror stories video where the stories are read by Zeke?
pretty unprofessional of him to make Hannah maintain his channel :/
🤣🤣🤣
"Zeke, did you know you have an online fan club?"
Zeke: silence (meaning, "of course I know I have online fans, I am Zeke and therefore to be adored.")
It sounds like Zeke is saying ‘momma’ to me and I find that really adorable.
They were the best boys.
my aunt has a maine coon named gizmo too lol
Where are my Gen Xers? We're the latchkey kids. We were trained to never ever open the door! Just be quiet and pretend no one's home.
@@FloppityFlopFlop777 I'm not scared of psychos, I'm scared of those damn MLM vacuum salesmen!
I’m here ( 46 yr old ) and I NEVER answer the door unless I’m expecting someone . I love doorbell cams for this !
I commute an hour everyday to school and I put on an hour MLM Horror Story for the drive and I absolutely love it! Thanks Hannah
Just FYI, I heard a lot of thefts are happening If you don’t answer because they think no one is home. Best to reply on the cam that you re busy/ not interested
It’s so kind of Zeke to allow you to appear on his channel
Zeke says it's bedtime! 😂 Don't apologize for him in the background. I love seeing and hearing the cats
20:54 my recommendation is to let them in. The Kirby is amazing. No other vac works. And rainbow/thermax/electrolux/filter queen etc etc are designed just like a hoover/eureka etc. Its funny, notice she kept saying how good the kirby is.
I did the math for story two lol. They worked 336 hours total over a 28 day span and only made $200. That means they were working for 60¢ an hour 🤯
Once again I have meowed back at zeke on accident thinking it was my cat in another room who also happens to be vocal and has a similar voice to zeke
That’s so sweet!
I meow at my cat back too, but she has a very different voice to Zeke.
Wow only 80 something k and just a year later over 500k congrats!
28 days as a Kirby rep. Well, you lasted 27 days longer than I did!
Zeke is obviously the Main Character. He has a lot to say and we’re all here for it.
Rewatching this and it’s crazy your now at half a MILLL subscribers
Killing it!
Every time your cat meows I think it’s one of mine 🤣🤣🤣
I own a Kirby from the 60s. I’m convinced it will last forever. Amazing machine.
Ugghh.
Zeke needs his own channel. It's the only logical solution at this point.
The twin story hit me hard. My friend is part of the toxic postive manifestation, hussle and energy gang. I feel like i have lost her. Ahhhh
I was the kid whose mattress was vacuumed in the Kirby sales pitch. It totally worked on my mom haha
Well. The Brave Little Toaster has been ruined for me now 🤣
30:42 it’s giving “if you won’t let me play with the toys I want then I’m going to tell my mom and not come round anymore” 😂
Lol every time I hear Zeke meow I keep thinking it's my cat!😂
The last story reminds me of a Tim Minchin quote: “you know what they call alternative medicine that works? Medicine.” 😂
awh the Zeke moment was so cute!!! i love him this is his channel!!
I love your anti mlm content and thats what drew me to you in the first place but i also really enjoyed that tiktok trend video made. All this to say dont be afraid to branch out.
my family (when i lived with my parents and was like 14) had a kirby rep come in to clean our living room once
my mom told the guy before he even came in that she would absolutely NOT be buying anything and he asked if he could do the demonstration anyway
i always thought it was because he wanted to really try to convince her or something, but now after hearing this video i think it must have just been an appointment to check off
it was so weird because his "boss" was in a car outside on the street, parked near our driveway.... a dark car, and it was dark out because it must have been fall and the sun set decently early - just felt creepy
he stayed for like TWO HOURS and my mom held firm, she even showed him that she already had two vacuums (and she uses them at least a few days a week, sometimes daily, because she likes to be extra clean, so his demonstration, before adding dirt or whatever, was cleaning carpet that would've been maybe one day of dirt at most, and we're a shoes off in the house kind of family so it was basically nonexistant lol)
its interesting that he probably WAS just getting the practice and checking off an attempt rather than really trying to get her to buy it - she was SO up front about it. he did still try, but he wasn't really like.. actually trying? just like he was reading his script by memory rather than actually talking about it, if that makes sense
at one point she did have me go upstairs to get my dad (he knew the guy was there, and he had his office door open to listen on what was happening but he had to work), because she wanted him to leave and one of her excuses was "ill have to talk to my husband" and he didn't really listen to that much, and my dad came downstairs and just went "no" and opened the front door and the guy finally left
the rep must have been like 19-21 and my mom was trying to be nice and help him out because "his boss was there and checking his performance and he didnt want to get fired" or something ?
it was really weird and confusing to me as a kid but now it seems to make more sense
@@angeladansie4378 so because YOU never added dirt, it can't ever happen?? uh okay
Open my door for a stranger with a cargo van idling in front of my house? No, thank you. You can wheel your vacuum right back to the van and hope the person in the next house doesn’t watch too many crime shows. I know a ruse when I see one. 😂
My husband's cousin just bought a Kirby a couple months ago and he LOVES IT! absolutely loves it!
Bravo to the Kirby rep for sneaking in a Brave Little Toaster reference! I love that movie! ❤
I loved Zeke's close-up cameo shot. So adorable!! I love when the cats chime in, even if they interrupt your train of thought a little. :)
Me hearing a cat meow and checking the door to let them in. All my cats were right next to me the whole time lmao. Zeke was pranking me! 😂 5:10
So funny I'm binging old videos and you mention having almost 100k subscribers...but at the time I'm watching you have almost 600k 🎉
I just love Zeke's calls. He sounds like a baby calling his mom (I'm a cat person, but also not having any more children, so it sounds so sweet!)
