The reason I love Justin Johnson is because musically he is FREE - He goes where he wants to go and when you go with him it's often full of surprises and always exhilarating. As an introvert musician (INTJ) I find myself deeply drawn to this self exploratory type of musical adventure where the aim is not to please anyone else except myself, but in so doing you end up pleasing and touching far more people than you can imagine. JJ is the BOSS - I wanna play and think musically like him when I grow up and I'm 62.
True story! I'm 52 and could have easily written these very words. Loving this with the full band. Deep roots old-school vibes all the way. It's authentic to the point that the music plays them rather than the reverse.

Been watching this guy for quite a while now and I gotta say... I am always impressed! Everything he does is outstanding. And wow the guitar (an d other instrument) collection this guy has is unbelievable.

When I first saw you on YT you just seemed too cool for school. Aloof, unreachable except through music, vibrating on a different plane than the rest of us mortals. You can imagine my delight when I saw a video tonight where you are talking about giving guitar lessons and playing requests, you were so humble and down to earth, not stuck up at all. Just made me love the music all the more after getting a glimpse of the man behind the music. No words to describe your talent. You have a lot to be conceited about but you aren't. You are a totally nice guy who puts his jeans on one leg at a time and has an awesome talent!
