Erratum: in the video Zeta say that there was 13 basic 11 multi and 6 ghost flairs, it was inaccurate,t here’s 11 basic 10 multi chroma and 4 ghost flairs
I just saw these and want to buy some. Initially my concern was living in such a dry climate was how quickly any paint dries but your technique of just using your finger with the glove isperfect!. Can't wait to try these out. Amazing tutorial!
I did use this pigments. But i handpainted the Armored Komodo Light curing black and it think it was great. Although my handpainting sucked but the level of finish of these pigments are crazy. How much more if i have used an airbrush which i dont have. Good products Arkom!
If you don't have an airbrush, how else can I have a base coat? Could I use these pigments with regular acrylics? or spray paint? I am a bit confused with what exactly should I and could I use before applying the pigment. Thank you!
Yeah I got a quick question would this work on large surface areas? Because I'm wanting to try to use this on the figure eyes standard dukemon / gallantman model kit the anime version. I'm wanting to do it to the gold pieces.
I remember mixing Jacquard Pearler EX with Tamiya paint and it turned out pretty decent. I wonder how it'll turn out with this stuff. Maybe I'll try mixing these with floor polish or another coat so I won't have to worry about drying time.
Im curious, would you be able to dilute this in thinner then into a gloss clear? Then you could just airbrush it on? Just an idea, so not sure if it would work
Great tip on the gloves im gonna try that out. I applied after a day of waiting for the vallejo to dry and still got pretty good results, but im def gonna try it while its wetter. They recommended vallejo metal varnish too what would the application of that?
Use the Metal Varnish as you would a standard top coat or gloss coat. I did try it and it worked well. I need just a little more practice at leveling out my coats before showing it off in a tutorial😅
monkeyking32 the metal varnish is to be used when your base is white for the ghost flairs. When you do use the metal varnish the dry time is 10 mins make sure you do count that because any longer will not give you a successful adherence for the pigment
Should work fine. Might be a little tricky to apply it before the primer cures. You may want to prime a number of parts, apply pigments, then prime a few more parts, apply pigments, and so on.
been tempted to use these for some time now,but i live in EU, so no matter where i order from,i'll allways get bent over by customs :c Also, i'm wondering, how much surface can you cover with one jar of pigment?example : lets say i get a jar of that shiny candy red, would a single jar be enough for ,say, sazabi 1/100, or should i best order 2 for finishing 1 MG kit? and since i'm on a roll here, one more : on the arkom FB they advertise it like "spray your primer on the weekends, then during weeknights, grab some parts, pigments, and brush the hours away" except like you point out, tht wont work when the primer has fully cured,so....even with their light-curing primer, hard to see how to get around the whole drying time VS marketing angle..if it worked like tht, hell,i'm sold.but before ordering stuff i'm curious, does it actually work like tht?
Niels Thiry each jar will last you up to a max of 2-3 regular size master grades As for the light curing we carry. Doesn’t matter how long you have dried it,the pigment will adhere to your canvas. As for right now no liquids are available from arkom in NA so we would use Vallejo or Mr. Hobby and keep an eye on the dry time to allow the pigment to adhere to your project.

You have to use their chromoflair sealer first before topcoating, but if you're not gonna touch it and leave it in a case it's pretty durable without topcoat

Thanks for keeping me in line.
Did you applied gloss topcoat after you applied the chromaflair? Please answer. Thanks
Just a quick question about this pigments, should I get a glove same as yours does generic rubber gloves just fine

Interesting application method! Great work, finish looks great!
Very Interesting vid, I may have to check these pigments out.
Interested to try them out in future! Thank you for the video!
Great stuff man!!! I’m tempted to try now

could this be applied on 1/6 scale finishes? Like Hot Toys Etc?

Does it need top coat?
Can i achieve a iridecent effect on clear background with that powder?
Stupid question, does it have to be a black glove?
Amazing results for minimal effort
what vallejo products have you used?

Frank Espichan no wonder yea it barely stuck when i used it cause i waited too long. Thanks!
quick question so these are essentially chrome pigments that are used on like nails right? if thats the case can i just use nail pigments?
Yes, you can, they are the same thing to me
how long did you wait after priming to apply the pigment?
Top coat?
Is this a powder pigment? Similar to the ones used on nails where they have to buff it on?
Yes it is.
Will it work with canned primer paints? I don't own an airbrush kit and I wanna try using this on kit. This will make an RG Sazabi hella awesome

Can you topcoat after?
You have to use their chromoflair sealer first before topcoating, but if you're not gonna touch it and leave it in a case it's pretty durable without topcoat
Yes you can. But be sure to have multiple coats of the pigment before applying it.
Official answer: due to no top coat from arkom in North America yet, we suggest using Alclad klear kote or aqua gloss to seal it and protect it.
@@kingofbrown1 but can you use this with the current paints in this video seeing there acrylic base paints & primer?
