  • Can I build a replica of Spotify? Let's find out!
    Code: github.com/Luu...
Sorry for the poor sound quality, I just realized it used the wrong microphone. Next stream won't have any noise.

i like how when people say building spotify they build only the ui... i mean you dont even need coding for that... the real challenge, the actual development is in the backend.. how about a client which made spotify successful: instant play any song on any disk around the world..

even if he added some backedend functionalities like auth/audio stream / u need the suggestions and machine learning to compile some playlists based on ur behavior and also again some adaptable streaming quality ....... never ending

@@firefox_tn1815 sure. but that is the real building spotify.. the ui can be done in ms paint and requires zero programming skills

My latest stream added an API, and once that is complete and deployed, it could provide the same functionality. However, as I said during the stream; what makes Spotify successful is not its technology, but its data, user base and brand 👍

@@LuukVanEgeraat well you are incorrect about that. the whole reason spotify became successful is because you could have all the music, without storing any of it and yet when you would go to play it, it would be like you had stored it locally. that is what got them their initial investment etc.
