Are White Collar Federal Prisons (Club Fed) Real?

  • In this video, I address a controversial topic, reflecting on the experiences and attitudes of individuals who have served time in federal prison, mainly minimum security camps often referred to as "Club Fed." I opened the video by reading a text message from someone accusing me of having an easy time during my federal prison sentence and criticizing my recent TV appearances on Fox News and CNBC.
Here is the message: "Yo I spent more time in prison just using the toilet than the total length of your entire sentence at club fed. I hated guys like you that came in and treated your stay as as vacation. And now you think some big shot going on CNBC and fox. If they they wanted the facts they would call someone who did real time. F you and the horse you road in on."
I share my thoughts on the varied perspectives on federal prison life and emphasize that everyone's journey is unique and relative to their circumstances. I also point out the reality of life in a minimum security camp, which can be as easy or challenging as a prisoner makes it.
I discuss federal prison camps' various amenities and activities, such as pickleball, tennis, and softball, acknowledging that it's easier than higher security prisons, detention centers, or state prisons.
I urge viewers not to be seduced by the temptations of leisure activities in a federal prison camp but to focus on preparing for life after prison.
I share insights on the importance of being proactive and documenting one's journey to demonstrate they're worthy of a second chance. I warn against complacency and stress that one's time in prison should be used wisely to ensure a smooth transition back into society.
Finally, I emphasize a message of gratitude and the necessity of embracing one's situation rather than dwelling on comparisons or complaints. I encourage viewers to focus on their journey, express gratitude for their circumstances, build their release plan, and prepare diligently for life on the other side of prison boundaries.
    Thank you,
    Justin Paperny

I'm going in tomorrow morning to Miami FCI camp. This channel has helped me tremendously. I have a plan when I get out, my job is taking me back, lost my insurance career but built a new one on pre trial release. I'm future focused. The handbook for Miami seems strict but it's camp so I'm grateful for what I got. Will be out in just over 12 months so see y'all in a year. Thank you Justin for all your help and your team.

I got SO tired of hearing that “you didn’t serve real time” crap! Small minds, stupid thoughts. Keep up the great work my friend. Oh, and now can anyone not like Big Daddy Kane? He’s a hip hop treasure!

Anyone who thinks being locked up anywhere for a period of time in a federal prison and basically being property of the bureau of prisons is a good thing is misguided to say the least.

There's a bunch of awesome advice in there even for those of us who will never step foot in a prison. Thank you for sharing and thank you for all you do in helping others.
"The measure of a man’s greatness is not in the number of servants he has, but in the number of people he serves (see Matt. 20:26, 27; 23:11). The successful man is not the one who walks over others to get his way. Instead, the man is successful who helps others attain success in their endeavors." - John Hagee

Those retorts from your viewers reminds me of the old Monty Python “…well, we had it tough!” skit. Constantly wanting to one-up each other..

Pride is a funny thing. His viewers remind me of the smart kids at my highschool who would min-max their ACT scores.
I took the state exam, got a 26, and was happy with it, but some kids try to rank themselves and the 29s would beat on the 28s, the 28s would beat on the 27s...
Looking back it was such a trivial thing for them to compete in but they felt like they had a chip on the shoulder for some reason. But fitting, since insecurity is one of the corners of the fraud triangle.

I can't believe you don't have more viewers and subscribers. Guys like Larry Lawton come off as disingenuous to me when they talk about prison... He gives half-hearted apologies for his crimes, but still acts like a bigshot, and thinks that most people in prison are getting screwed by the system. You seem MUCH more genuine, to me. Some people should be in prison, some people shouldn't.

    • @JJJJ-gl2uf
      @JJJJ-gl2uf ปีที่แล้ว

I've watched some of Larry Lawton's videos. He seems to be more of an entertainer on TH-cam as opposed to someone providing solid advice. I'm glad he's made something out of his post-prison life [that can't be easy in the US], but I don't find his videos that interesting anymore.

It seems like most of the guys (and many of them aren’t young) talking about prison on TH-cam are trying to perpetuate prison lifestyle, being a top G, wearing their hats sideways, the who nine yards. You rarely hear any of the strategic elements this channel shares, keep up the good work providing the tools people need to move out of the system and back into productive life.
