اه يا حسرتي عليكي يا حلب شو كانت هلحكومة الظالمة هاملتك...لو كانت حلب لدولة غربية كانت رممت المدينة القديمة بافضل انواع الترميم وخلتها تصير بدعة تجذب اضخم اعداد من السياح...بس الله ما بيحبنا مشان بيعطينا هيك حكومات زبالة.
I stayed there before the war... five nights? Not sure anymore, but I loved the hotel like none other that I have stayed in. All gone now. I remember the young staff at the front desk. They wanted out. Badly. I did try to help one of them understand at least how to better deal with the visa issue... but sadly I wonder of course if they made it... not out, but simply survived. Honestly; wonderful people, fascinating country and now in ruins with scars that certainly won't heal in my lifetime... I have seen a lot of places that are interesting, but some are or were truly unique... Syria was one of those. Sure, you still had to get off the beaten track, but if you did that it was a life experience. I met the Head of Antiquities at Palmyra and did not even know it... he took me to some under ground tombs that were not open to the public. Really. Hard for me to think about that now. Why? Hard to look back and say that man that you met was beheaded 20 years later. Hard for me to come to terms with that. Well now that I've cheered you up, ya can still go to Myanmar, go up river to Mrauk U and wash 2000 years away on the boat trip. Go before that is to late. Go. Before it is to late for Mrauk U and you.

افطرنا بالتراس الصيفي لاكثر من ٣٠ شخص
كان اجمل افطار رمضاني بهالدار
في كثير بلشام بيوت عربية فنادق ومطاعم. كثير طيبة.
بعد حلب مافي بكل الدنيا .. حلب ام الدنيا

ليش تقولي الله ما بيحبنا اتقى الله المؤمن مبتلى إن الله اذا أحب قوماً إبتلاهم ولا نعلم الغيب حتى نعرف اللي صار بسوريا عضب وعقوبه او ابتلاء
