I don't know how the views are terrible on this build, it's the most unique build on the channel AND it's done entirely by you for the most part. I think you don't care about the views because it has an emotional attachment to your life so you're gonna be doing it anyway with or without a camera.

    Hey Gavin,
I’m glad you’re ignoring the lower than normal view counts on these videos. The rest of us that are here watching love the series! A very unique idea and I’m sure a long time coming project for you. I feel the same way about my coyote swap new edge that is taking me a while to get finished. With all you’ve had going on it’s great to see you having fun and genuinely happy about being able to work on your car. Keep up the good work and I can’t wait to see this car finished.

i can answer that for you, he ignores the now low view count because he has now "LOST SIGHT" this is what happens when fame, money and all the rest of the BS becomes more important than friends and friendship ;) go back to the start and look at the Vlogs to now where its a 20min waist of time, boring and no friends around and having to do the work your self.. thats why

@@mrk454 Gavin has been going through depression, feeling like he's not where he wants to be, and being just overall stressed out. And your saying he's lost sight? The man is literally moving cross country to find a place where he actually wants to be at to give us the content we've been missing. Your also a new follower to his channel so I'll give you benefit of the doubt that you haven't seen the video of him explaining this on his Time Out channel. The fact that he is rebuilding his dad's car (and I know he is going to take dad for a ride) and using his first built motor for the car. Its amazing. Imagine telling your dad "Hey pops, I rebuilt your car, but I put a Ford in it and it's the one that made the channel grow from my mustang"

Honestly to hell with anyone that is sub but not watching videos. I’m personally her because I admire all stuff you guys do. And in the process I’ve learned a lot.
I want you guys to be happy with what you’re doing because everyone is at their best when they’re doing something that they love.
Also, I was watching the War Zone stream for a while yesterday. I think that if live streaming is something you love doing you should do it more often. Obviously take it all at you’re own pace, it’s hard to love something if it starts to be too much of a hustle.

My first car to work on like this was an 83 Cutlass Supreme. 383 stroker motor with a Muncie transmission. My brother and I did all the work in the street in front of the house. Carpet is always sent with extra so that way it can be trimmed to fit perfectly. Also when cutting for the shifter you just measure from the door jam to door jam and put a mark is where the shifter is, then transfer that measurement to the carpet.

This build is gonna be sick this is my favorite type of content, yea driving the cars is cool and all but to see the process of how it all comes together is the best for me

I for one am loving this series. Adding the carpet and seats really makes it come together

ive done carpet in like 3 diffrent classic cars they all usally go that way they never cut for the shifter and they give you extra for the edges so you got to cut the edges to make it lay flat then use spray adhesive to make it lay down with no creases

Damn bro the camaro is coming along nicely. I love watching you putting the car back together yourself and adding your own personal touch to it. I’m excited to see the day that you are driving it around.

So when installing those mats like dynamat for example. Use a roller to evenly compress the mat across the entire area and work out any air pockets

Honestly I have been enjoying this series a lot more than some of the other content, I feel the reason the view count might be low is because there isn't too much going on build wise. And its been mostly the little stuff here and there. But none the less im excited to see what the whole package ends up looking like.

A lot of people use a roller when using sound deadened so it goes on a lot smoother. Dope video

I installed sound deadening and closed cell foam in my 2012 F150 and it sounds so much better. It used to sound empty on the roof and now it sounds solid when you hit it. I highly recommend it

Next time, install the seat bracket bolts before you install the carpet. Then cut around them, that way they are easy to locate through the carpet and you cut the holes in the perfect place.
