Grow Onions From Seed - A Simple Method to Grow Hundreds of Onions

I love growing onions from seed. I used to buy onion sets, but once I learned to grow onions from seed I will not be going back. Today I want to show you how I'm starting hundreds of onion seedlings. It is a very simple method and in a couple of months I'll be ready to transplant my onion seedlings outside.

I was led to believe when starting long day onions you should limit the duration of lighting to about 12 hours to start. Increasing light duration a little bit at a time before planting outside. This would simulate a more natural timeframe. Thoughts?
