I’m Catholic but I love those whom runs after Jesus with a true heart. He’s the real thing!!! For the past 7 years since my conversion. I’ve been praying and trying to abide in Jesus. Because I know apart from Jesus I can’t live! Praise our Lord for my brother Francis Chan. Thank you Lord. I pray that everyone would have a deep relationship with Jesus everyday.
And now I believe that Francis is either a Catholic or Eastern Orthodox. God showed him a proper understanding of the Eucharist. Praise God!
His Preaching makes me reevaluate my entire life. Then I realize just how far away from God I am. Help me Lord.

Have thought for the past five years that I was either crazy or losing my mind. Less of me and more of Jesus challenges me so much. God thoughts all day long. I have a passion to know Jesus. Love God and love people.
I've heard "less of me, more of Jesus" most of my Christian life. My husband made a statement a few months ago, and it's really stuck with me. He said, "NONE of me, more of Jesus."

@@meshavillar I used to be used of God pretty strongly and during that time, one thing I'd always pray when going to do His will is: "let it be all you and not me at all." And also: "let me say and do exactly what you want me to, no more and no less." That was years ago. I've fallen since, but desire to be strong in Him again. Please pray if you would. Back then He'd speak through me, like it was all Him, and He'd do signs and miracles, healing etc, tell of things in advance and every single time it would come to pass exactly as stated, at times with miracles on that as well... even in all these 16 years since I've fallen, He's still used me strongly at times. He's even healed animals through me during this time which I'd never heard of that before so I felt very honored. I want two things strongly: to be fully in Him and His will and love again and remain, that and to be a great husband to a great wife in a great marriage... like the way Francis Chan describes the kind of wife he has in this sermon... please pray for me on these things anyone who would who reads this. Also for my music according to His will.

I love what he said... all the branches can get together in church but they don't make fruit... we need stay connected to Jesus the vine in our lives.... I had to or have to not rely on my own ability to make something happen.. BUt God does it..

Amazing words of wisdom. So many churches are just like community centers just there to hang out. God called his people to share the Love of Jesus with others.
Rise up Christians so many are falling asleep and no longer sharing the Word of God to be a witness for Jesus.

Brother Francis gets it. It's not about us, it's all about God's glory!
I think the point of John 15 is not that WE receive all WE need FROM the Vine (it's not about US at all)...but that we GIVE all that we have in the world sacrificing ourselves, knowing that we are USEFUL to the Vine in order to bear much fruit (leading people to Christ, healing the sick, casting out demons, etc.) and thus bring great glory to the Father. We can't heal disease without His power, but when we abide in Him, and His word abides in us, and we keep His commandment, which is TO LOVE, then we can go into the world and heal the sick and so on. "Did I not tell you that if you BELIEVE you will see the glory of God?"
We Christians never see the glory of God, the fruit of miraculous healing, because we don't BELIEVE that He will use US to do it. It is a self-fulfilling prophecy of ours that says "I am not worthy to be used by Him, and therefore He won't use me." Well.......BELIEVE.....that He will use us dull knives, rusty hammers, and bent screwdrivers, and then He WILL use us...so long as we believe that He will, and then we *take action* to SHOW our faith by working hard to manifest HIS glory. Actions prove and perfect our faith...and without our stepping out in courage and TRYING to heal the sick, our faith is useless and might as well not even exist.
Our abiding in Jesus isn't for our benefit primarily! It is so that we will have the cajones to GO, LAY HANDS on the sick in the Walmart scooter, COMMAND the disease to go out, and bring the witnesses to faith and all glory to the Father! This is what "bearing fruit" means...and by this God is glorified...and whoever tries to do it is pruned by God to succeed more and more!
That's the point of John 15!
Abiding in the vine, is abiding in the Father's house, in the Father's heart. Not coming and going but dwelling in the house of the Lord FOREVER! Like David said: "That I may dwell in the house of the Lord FOREVER"!

that's a great illustration about that branch....we can put all the branches together but if they aren't connected to the vine its not gonna bear fruit...thats what we do in church when we don't abide in Jesus and don't see the importance or good in doing his words..forgive me Lord when I don't love my enemies in church...and when I trust too much in my ability instead of yours...am glad he said that too about trusting in our own abiltiy more than Gods...thanks to Jesus ...Thank u God for Francis Chan being honest enough to share this with us your people...

Francis is a true man of God ... he reminds me a bit of Pastor Jim Cymbala.... They are so passionate about the message they bring from God wanting us to take heed and smell the coffee because Jesus is coming soon. I believe this is how Noah must of sounded when he was warning the sinful people that a flood was coming
Francis is NOT a true man of God. He's just like any other false apostle of Christ. Teaching the doctrines of men with no credentials whatsoever in theology. Don't believe me, do the research. 1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; 1 Tim. 4:1 KJV. 4 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. 2 Tim. 4:3-4 KJV.

“I know now why Can’t reach God because I am one the damned the non elect”. Breaks my heart I just read that in one of responses. I want to tell you with all my heart and in my spirit God Loves you. He loves you so much that He gave His only begotten Son to die so that WHOSEVER believes on Him should not perish but have everlasting life. He died for you. He loves you. God said He wishes no one to perish. This predestination from before time to heaven or hell. It is a stumbling block. It hurts people and it’s not God pleasing. Jesus died for “the Whole WORLD” as He said. Believe and experience the absolute beauty of His love. OH my Soul can not contain the LOVE of the Lord. BELIEVE

What he says is so true. I think part of the problem is that the word ecclesia was translated as church. Ecclesia was a gathering, a group. We think of church as a building not a group. All of the followers that love Jesus are the ecclesia. Instead of living with and by faith, and letting the world see us depending on God for everything, like George Mueller with the orphans, we see our responsibility as going to a building once a week for an hour. Keith Green compared going to church in America to going to prison once a week to visit a loved one. We live as though church is the building we visit once a week, whereas in other countries, the believers are the church. The building isn't even relevant. So chur ch is everywhere, all the time. Wherever a believer is, the church is there.

Francis, I learn so much from you and I have great respect for you BUT sometimes you are rude to Lisa, and she is SOOO sweet, empathetic and gentle. Please, think about it, God has blessed you with a bright, beautiful and most of all Jesus loving wife. You could NEVER find another woman as awesome as her. You’ve been blessed, don’t take her for granted.
Father: I ask that You find me a place in 2025, where I can do Your will. I am not willing to settle for a church t5hat are nothing more than bumps in pews.
