I travelled from the UK to Hornby island in the summer and had the joy of seeing this song performed live on the Sunday morning before their evening festival appearance i count this experience as one of the most beautiful in my 47 years on this planet !

Easily one of the best songs that I've heard in a long time! Both the radio and live versions are amazing!! 👏👏👏

I saw them live in Whistler. I was struck right away with the realization of how much I like this ladies voice.

All the leaves keep falling down on my front porch
And I'm thinking that it might be time to go
And the cold it keeps me hid behind blue eyes
Only telling when it should be time for show
Everyday I take my tired feet to the store
And I pull my heels across the dusty floor
Oh the dust it sticks to me, I take it home
Keeps collecting into one judgmental stone
Could I go somewhere where I can feel the moonshine flow
And the sun would be upon me everyday
Could I go somewhere where I can feel the moonshine glow
And the sun would beat upon me everyday
    And lay down my
    Roots
    Roots
All the beams keep burning down into my back
And I'm thinking that it might be time to go
And the sand it sticks to me, I take it home
Keeps collecting into one judgmental stone
Could I go somewhere where I can feel the cool breeze blow
And the storm would be upon me everyday
Could I go somewhere where I can feel the cool breeze blow
And the storm would beat upon me everyday
    And lay down my
    Roots
    Roots
    Roots
    Roots
    I would be so happy
Just to call you my home
    To call you my roots
All the stones I threw them in the salty sea
Walked across'em, found you waiting there for me
Could I go somewhere where I can feel your loving grow
And your storm would be upon me every day
Could I go somewhere where I can feel your loving flow
    Every day
    Day oh oh
    And lay down my
    Roots
    Roots
    Roots Roots

Oh Gods, someone help me with this: the tune to this song is SO similar to another one. I can't remember the name of it for the life of me, or the band/artist, but it's sung by a guy and some of the lyrics are "It's the simple things in life like where and when", or I think so. I'm not talking about that stupid "All Summer Long" song either. Help?

No, you moron, it's probably reminding you of "Joline" by Dolly Parton, just like that new Miley Cyrus song that you actually like despite it being Miley Cyrus. Duh.
