VIVIZ consists of three former members of the group GFRIEND. Gfriend debuted in 2015 and disbanded in 2021, and SinB, Eunha, and Umji redebuted under a different company as Viviz in 2022, so while the girls have been in the industry for a while, Viviz as a group is still relatively new.
GFriend has not disbanded. Source Music screwed them over. They're currently not an active group and the members are trying their own different things for now, but they still call Sowon their leader and Sowon has stated in an interview that they are not disbanded and that they will reunite one day.

Didn't think I'd see Viviz on your channel. They are the only group other than Dreamcatcher that I consider myself a card-carrying fan of. Their name is pronounced 'Veeveez' as per the spelling, or 'Vee Vee Zee' which is in accordance with their Korean Pronunciation of 'Bibiji'; as far as I know all 3 pronunciations are acceptable. The 3 of them are Gfriend members (most of us in the fandom don't refer to them as 'ex' or 'former' members because Gfriend is more in a state of being 'inactive' than 'disbanded') 'Untie' is a B-side from their latest and 4th mini album 'Versus', for which the title track is 'Maniac', a song that is currently riding on a chart reversal that is finally getting the girls some recognition (yes, they are very much another underrated group).
