I love my tomahawk and carry it daily it's a Cold steal Spike best tool I've ever had in the woods I even carry it when mountain biking for wild animals like coyote and the occasional pack of wild dogs my Cold Steal Spike & SOG hawk are fantastic tools . Plus some yahoo see's a tomahawk on your person they think twice about being aggressive towards you lol

yeah for 300 dollars the Gerber Tomahawk is just a bit too pricey plus the thin handle you'll have your hands torn up with any heavy use of this. Honestly I'd stick with the Gerber Gator Combo Axe for 60 dollars and you'd have a proper axe that wont leave you hands blistered with the thin handle of the tomahawk.
After seeing all the offerings. That Greg of bone tactical wasn't lying. Every other tomahawk out there is just all flashy, not practical. Then the ones that are practical are using crap steel compared to his tomahawk. I didn't believe bone tactical when I first saw them, thought he was just a grifter snake oil salesmen, but damn he made me eat my own words.
