We've never done a video on custom magic cards before. It's a bit of the game I've been very involved in for years now, and there's at least one (longer, more in-depth) video on it in the works. Are you guys interested in hearing more about how the players of magic use its rules and iconography to create something new? Let me know.
I like this video. You brought some cool community creations to more eyes and I think the explaination on the mechanics is nice. But, as you said it yourself, you're a bit heavyhanded on explaining the jokes. I think less is more. If you do more like this in the future, I hope you cut back on explaining jokes. But I do hope you do more like this in the future.
I suspect any future videos diving into popular cards might intentionally avoid any and all joke cards. They are popular for a reason, but there's plenty more going on in the community! Thanks for the feedback.
@@BuildingBetterDungeons Imo the joke cards were some of the best of the video, but I agree that finding a way to present them is the most challenging aspect you’re dealing with. I would try not to cut them completely - I enjoyed them.
2020-2020 building better dungeons RIP

@@mattjohnston7879 I'm glad for your perspective. Balancing the fun and the function will be an interesting challenge going forward.
