I think it's bc Yeo jun had more of a dark past and yk problems while si Eun had more of a redemption arc yk like he knows how to fight and like he did something like revenge idk I don't watch the k drama lmao and it kinda makes more sense idk

I love this, but the timeline confuses me. Si Eun is in high school, and Yeo Jun is in college. So how come Yeo Jun is past and Si Eun is future?
Not sure, most people don't think about the school or ages, they js go with it.
