NO BRO! trust me. That was not a good example. Even tho it's done by CAT which even surprised me. 1. NEVER travel at that speed with a bucket full of anything ESPECIALLY ROCKS. if just 1 of those rocks roll out in front your gone. 2. Dig straight and go into your truck articulated. His truck positioning was wrong. Too much of an angle. Forcing the loader to drive further out. 30 degrees is better. This keeps your truck closer. Much more efficient. But that travel speed with a full bucket? No no no! BAD CAT!
DO NOT travel at that speed with a full bucket ESPECIALLY with ROCKS!! if just 1 of those rocks managed to roll out that bucket at THAT SPEED your in BIG TROUBLE!

I use a 972H on a regular but I don't like these stick drive machines at all, I can steer just fine with a wheel. Cat talks about efficiency when what they really mean is operators just ain't what they once were. You can see that by putting a new operator in an old machine, they can't think for themselves. The machine robbed them of common sense, just stick a youngster in an old hoe like a 5550 and watch them scratch their heads wondering why there's 4 sticks. This new crap is disposable as soon as it's service life is deemed over.
The proper loading procedure was the most valuable. No other videos I found were more informative. Right to the point. 😊
awesome video I'm going from a 988f to the k tomorrow very helpful video
Excellent! Most helpful! It's a great refresher as I usually operate Deere loaders. Thanks!

So beautiful
so no single reverse dismount, with a double tuck and one full somersault in the pike position when exiting the cab........got it.
Good presentation, but I laughed hard when he said "inspect seat belt every time before use".
