My own experience is that art flows easiest when you create an image from your mind no one has ever seen b4, because their are no expectations.

Even an artist is still practicing untill now.
It takes a year to practice
Usually 2-3-6 years.
It takes lot of patience
After practicing, FIND your own art style
At first, your art is inspired
Like Anime style, Catoonish style and Realsm
So what Im saying is art takes a long practice and dont just give up

Honestly “the best markers” don’t buy talent or practice; good artists don’t magically turn “good” because of having good markers, the could use dollar store stuff and be able to use it because of the experience they have
Yeah. But my art skill does go down a little because my markers remove visiblility from pencil markings.
