My dream home. This is magical and in my opinion, perfect. A job well done. I give praise to all who participated in the creation, construction, and design of this beautiful masterpiece.
I wonder how the flat roof is going to hold up through severe winter snow. Snow gets really heavy. Hope the roof was designed to hold the weight! Lovely home in the wrong climate.
That's actually incorrect, it's very easy to make flat roofs capable of withstanding multiple feet of snow and ice during winter storms you just have to have the structural necessities in mind when building and designing
@@WaterdropGirl if you build a structure, strong enough, they probably could but I still think it’s not a good idea. Ice and snow can accumulate There’s no natural runoff for melting ice and water will pool on the roof and could cause damage. Freezing ice with expansion could be a nightmare as most flat roofs have edges that point up at the ends. If owning the house for long-term, I would definitely choose a sloped roof in a snowy environment. Wisconsin’s winters can be brutal and snow can pile high. seems like it’s just asking for trouble. The added expense to build a roof strong enough would be a major deterrent.
@@peterw2714 there is always standing seam metal roofing which would be capable of lasting far longer than even the highest sloped roofs with regular shingles. You definitely wouldn't want other materials in icy environments but metal roofing would still do quite well
@@WaterdropGirl yes metal roofs are a great choice. They’re slippery with natural snow runoff when you slope it steep enough. I had an uncle with a flat roof house in Iowa and it did not work out well at all.
Does anybody know what material is the ceiling of the living room? Is that a specific material for ceilings or any floor vynilic tile is ok to be hung on a ceiling?

I do love how the home is populated just so the viewers can get a better sense of scale of the home. Fantastic work, this is a fine property!
This home is amazing!

@@peterw2714 yeah cold roof with standing metal seam seems like the only way to go with flat or low slope shed styled roofs. Was his a warm flat roof?
magnifique

I would like to purchase the picture of the dog that is displayed in the living room, but could you tell me the artist?
It’s just a chalk on blackboard drawing 👍🏽
